Trinity Broadcasting Network, has $341,000,000.00 in cash and investments on hand. According to:
http://www.ministrywatch.com/mw2.1/H_Home.asp .

This nonpartisan ministry watchdog group has placed a warning about donating to this haven for multimillionire televangelists. TBN have begged so much that Jan Crouch, in a widely distrubuted, and very disturbing internet video, asked for GRANDMOTHERS TO SEND TBN THEIR GROCERY MONEY. It's on YouTube.com

With $341,000,000.00 cash and investments...will you be giving to TBN during their next beg-a-thon?

PS- I do give to my church, and those in need. I don't believe in subsidizing multilmillionaires, with $341,000,000.00 in the bank!

Isn't this horrible. It makes it hard for Christ to be taught if he is being overshawdowed by greed and selfishness. I say give locally (unless lead by the Spirit to do otherwise) where you can see your money being put to work to further the gospel.

My church uses their "normal" tithes and offerings to pay church expenses like lights and water, offers free classes, concerts and gives to the poor and other countries.

Thanks for the info. Millions for Mercedes not one effing dime for the needy.

BTW Robert Tilton's ministry in North Dallas had a news film crew recording the dumpster where the items given to the needy were disposed. Seems when you give to some organizations they are only interested in the cold hard cash. Which landed Tilton in a heap of trouble with the IRS several years ago. But, alas, he is back on the air, bilking many out of their grocery money with his money making schemes.

Thanks for the link. Saves me the trouble of watching their antics on late night t.v. and the usual Sunday morning diet of idiots selling to other idiots. My favorite is the "prayer" cloths and the bottles of "holy" water. At the cost of about a $100-$1000 if you are truly "grateful".

Religion is the ultimate con. It is government protected, tax free and the product they sell doesn't have to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. Little wonder so many people jump on this manured money wagon.

I wouldn't give them a penny if I found it in the parking lot. There is not one shred of doctrine being taught by that organization and tons of false doctrine being cranked out by the hour.
