Christian leftists have this "turn the other butt-cheek and impale me and my country" mentality. They still claim to be christians, but have this nauseating mutant version and they never miss a moment to blame "christians" for everything they and their islamists friends cant blame jews for.

Leftists who still claim to be christians...whats up? Im agnostic, at least I had the guts to accept reality...that all religion is a sick joke. If you hate christians so much...why bother....underneath your agnostic anyway.

It seems as if as scientific knowlege about our planet and universe grows, the more zealous and desperate Christianity becomes. At this point in history the most vocal seem to be grasping for footholds in culture that don't exist (Christian nation argument, Stiring up falacious debate over evolution). We even witness some Christians blaming other Christians of not being true Christians.

Could this be the beginings of the violent spazm preceeding the death rattle of a once "great" religion?

Instead of calling yourself a Christian, you are "Christing" (doing Christianity).

Instead of calling yourself an atheist, you see yourself as "atheizing" (living life in the way of an atheist).

You see the pattern.

People here talk about others not being "true Christians" or "true atheists." The problem may be the label. Plumbers plumb. Electricians wire. Preachers preach. You can watch them do it.

If people heard you or watched you Christing, what would they say Christing is?

Or Buddhing?

Or Islamizing?

Or atheizing?

Whenever I finish NY w/ my 2 small children, I feel like I have to cross streets to avoid these people. They scream "Are you Jewish" from across the street & my kids are scared of them. I kind of feel like they are isolating me, or do they do this to everyone?

I am 16 and have never believed in God or Jesus or any of that junk. I have been going to church all my life and I just dont believe. I need to save up money for college since my parents dont have much and want to work on sundays to help do this instead of wasting my time in a silly church. Does anyone have advice that would make it easier to tell my parents that I dont believe? They are really religious.

Just imagine if Yahoo Answers was the start to removing religion from our world once and for all. Have you noticed that many of the savage venomous religious posters have already left the scene, beaten back by intellectuals and science. That's truly good news.

Credit to all of the non-believers who have gone to obvious lengths to show everyone how ridiculous and fake God, Religion, the Bible etc, all are in a modern world.

Just imagine the world becoming a happier and more peaceful place because religion has been banned from public viewing and discussion, and religious people have scurried away, defeated by common sense, logic, knowledge, intelligence, the internet and science.

Credit to our younger generation for seeing through this religious charade. Stand up and be counted. Say no more to religion, get it off our streets.

I know this isn't the thinking of every theists out there but it just makes me laugh. By saying you don't like evolution for lack of evidence you are implying that you require proof to back up beliefs on important issues. When you say you believe in God it means that you are basing your life around something completely on faith or abstract ideas that could be hopefully interpretted as Godly. Besides, it's a completely false statement, I don't think that you've read the details of the modern theory if you think this.

Plus if you really look into it there is more than enough evidence to evolution's credit to give it status at at least the strongest possibility we know of have. To clarify in case you didn't get it I strongly support the theory.
