Muslims, pretend this isnt the Quran and ask yourself of this passage is a work worthy of the greatest power and intelligence in the universe:

8:12 "I will cast TERROR into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore STRIKE OFF THEIR HEADS AND STRIKE OFF EVERY FINGERTIP of them. http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/008.q...

Has it ever occured to you, that if God exists, and he can be insulted as you so often claim, then he would surely hate you guts for attributing to him a work which isnt worthy of a cheap horror novelist.

How about this:

"He (Allah) Who has, made for you the EARTH LIKE A CARPET spread out" http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/020.qmt.html#020.053

Muslims, listen close now...ok...THERE IS NO F***G WAY GOD THINKS, THAT THE BEST POSSIBLE COMPARISON ONE COULD MAKE TO THE EARTH WOULD BE THAT OF COMPARING IT TO A "CARPET SPREAD OUT!"

I SAY AGAIN MUSLIMS...THERE IS NO WAY...NO WAY....NO FRICKING FU*K** WAY GOD IS THAT STUPID...NO WAY.

0% CHANCE.

I ask this question to build on others in the debate on whether or not the U.S. government and the nation was founded on Christian principles.

References are made to the Pledge of Allegiance (to which the phrase "under God" was later added), the motto "In God We Trust" on our money, and references to God and natural law in documents like the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.

But why are folks so quick to claim that these references are "Christian", particularly when many of the "founding fathers" were Deists?

And why are documents like the Treaty of Triopli, which clearly states that the government of this country was not founded on Christianity, conveniently ignored?

If I say that I believe in God, does that make me a Christian?
I think not - and I think that many Christians will only reassure me of that fact.

Do Christians have some exclusive right to God?
I think not - but I know that some Christians argue that they do, through Jesus.

Can the answer of the "why", destroy all the questions in our minds?
What would happen if we didn't have any questions?
Where does our thinking come from?

Questions?
Would no more questions mean suicide?

would the world be a better place if everyone with religious and non-religious beliefs followed oliver cromwells advice

"Think it possible that you may be mistaken"

does the christian religion disable its adherants from admitting they may be wrong? I know that as an atheist i find it very easy to admit i may be wrong.

If I serve my slavemaster Ali bin Rahaman, then I do what he tells me to do. But since Allah isnt speaking to anyone, you must assume that by doing what the Quran says, you serve Allah.

However, Muslims believe that you need a proper angry-imam to interpret Allah for you and thus tell you what Allah is telling them to tell you to do.

So the communication channel is ALLAH >> QURAN >>> ANGRY-IMAM >> GULLIBLE MUSLIM

If Christians are right, 1.4 billion Jews and Muslims are wrong
If Muslims are right, 2.1 billion Christians and Jews are wrong
If Jews are right, 3.5 billion Christians and Muslims are wrong
If they are all wrong, more than 3.5 billion Jews Christians and Muslims are wrong.

Any way you look at it, billions of monotheists are wrong

I'm really interested in expanding my knowledge, and because I don't like to argue about something I know little about, I decided to read the Bible, but since there are too many versions, i got lost!
So as a start, what version should I buy, or what is the most readable version by Christians?

Thanks, I really appreciate it =)

Are they saying that they think scientists are omnipotent? I mean if you think that the fact that we don't know God didn't do it means he did do it, aren't you saying we know everything we can know? That scientists are so omnipotent that everything that they can't figure out is divine and completely beyond understanding?

Nothing against religious people, I just hate people using non-evidence in another area as evidence for their belief.

There are a couple of atheists here claiming victory saying that because there have been a couple of Christians posting lately they already won, and they believe they have changed Christians minds with their satanic views. The poor little ones are judging this forum like if it were the real world.

You are not seeing many Christians right now because they do have a life unlike you, or they are busy working or in college, or they just got tired of helping lost souls for a while.I haven't given up yet and I will soon be back in this forum.

I will get back in the ring soon. I am waiting for YOU.
