You hit the hammer on the nail. In the Koran, also, if the spiritual leader is actually wrong, then the suicide bomber is still safe as long as He listens to his spiritual leader. Allah will only hold the spiritual leader accountable.
That is why suicide bombers think it's safe to blow themselves up on a school bus.
In reality, the killing of innocent is one of the 7 things God hates most. Perfect religion before God is helping the widows, orphans, etc... and keeping self from sinful living.

You can never end religion. You can end war. The day you're dreaming of is called "The Rapture", where many people will vanish, then you'll have 7 years of peace in which the Anti-Christ will reveal himself and then well... it's in the Revelations. Does the word apocalypse ring a bell?

Unfortunately, many people follow that strategy. Muslims nowadays do not follow the word of GOD at all, but have broken pretty much all of GOD's laws by practicing idolatry, secretarian division, and murder on a grand scale.
