Oh man.........woo hooooo.
I wish He had just emailed me with a short message instead. It would have been a lot easier. :)
You know what? I loved every minute of it too. why? Because I had to learn something. I guess it goes back too, you can't appreciate something till you don't have it.
I believe if a child is born into a rich wealthy family, this is not a good thing, in a lot of ways. They will never "want" for anything. it is very very hard for a wealthy person too became humble. Why should a rich dude be humble when he has anything he wants?
What does all Christians need? God's wisdom and Knowledge thereof. You only get this one way. BY Experience. You don't get experience by reading about it.
Pain and suffering is for a reason. You will come out it a BETTER person than you went into it. :)
Pain and suffering is not always a punishment by any means. It is a form of what? Spiritual GROWTH.

No, never...for noone. God does not need to get your attention...He always has it...you are a piece of this great entity...knowing everything you do & feel, as well as why.
Understand that you have charted/planned for every inconvenience, pain & suffering...every situation of physical & mental endurance...this is YOUR life...you made these calls...
All with great purpose in mind...for your true Self--your spirit Self--to learn & grow. Think a bit deeper...what do we really learn when we are in times of easiness, when all is going well, when things are hunky dorey??? Not much, right? Don't we kind of kick back, say "AAHHHH!", & enjoy the calm? Well, we have plenty of that at Home. Sooooo, other than being a nice rest period for our physicality here, it's not serving much in accomplishing purpose of spirit....See?
The question you should be asking of Self is "Who & What am I in this situation?" Am I a forgiver, am I a victim, am I an abuser? Can I learn compassion, can I learn to love stronger, can I remind someone else of Who They truly Are? Things like that...questions like that...will help you get through that particular hardship quicker, if you take responsibility, learn, grow & watch for the next door to open to move on.

In high school I tore my ACL. I think God was trying to get across the point that I had begun putting football in front of him. It actually worked out for the best in the end, I gained a lot of weight (which i needed for football) and realized how much I would miss the game when I was done. So when I came back the next year, I savoured every moment and learned to keep God #1 through it all.

Yes I think He lets pain and suffering happen to ppl so that they will look up to the Father God for help. Like the old saying goes. " when yeah hit rock bottom the only thing left to do is look up to our heavenly Father God. Too if we had not gone through the pain and suffering we wouldn't appreciate what God does for us. Bought experience is the best experience. Discipline is our friend. Example: you discipline a child for doing wrong is painful but you are doing it because you love him and don't want him to do that again because it was wrong.
Too if you read the book of Job, it will tell you what he went through battling with the evil one. God kicked the devil out of heaven and he is roaming the earth with us. And he is here to steal, kill and destroy. God said to the evil one that he could do anything to him but he couldn't kill him. God knowing that Job wouldn't deny his Father God

Yes, very recently I was going through a tough time; but instead of calling on God, I demanded a change in my life situation.
It took me about 9 months to realize that He was trying to tell me that He is more than anyone or anything else could be. I'm still learning to put Him first, and am so grateful that He made me see the wonderful gift that is a close relationship with Him.

sure. sometimes the greatest joy is over coming pain. pain and suffering is part of life. just because god puts pain and suffering in your life doesn't mean he hates you. some times you have to feel pain to learn how to enjoy life. if everything was pain free and no one suffered then why would peolpe look forward to heaven.

I certainly do. Sometimes things and people get between us and God. The Bible says "he chastens those he loves". God is trying to tell us to "have no other Gods before him". God only does what he has to do, to bring us back to him. Stay close to God hold his hand very tightly and never let go!!!

Everyone has their own areas that God is working on. He does use "down time" to get my attention all the time. It is usually that I have put things out of priority. Sometimes I get going so fast I have to be down to hear him clearly, this time is usually hard but good.

He can.
Read through Bible to see that he has used it to get across some VERY good points.
Ex1: (Paraphrased) "Isralites. Go into Caanan NOW and take it." They refused and he said "Now you can't go into it for another 40 years." Then they tried to go in without God's help and they LOST... BADLY.
Ex2: (More Paraphrased) "Moses, take this staff and have my powers. Now, go and take the Isralites from Egypt." Moses picked it up and, after blunt refusal from the pharoh, he caused Plauges to reign on Egypt which many died and more were hurt.

After years of drinking and bad concequences, God put a physical burden on me so that I cant really drink again without physical ramifications. No one would otherwise know, I will live with it till I die . Its between God and me.
