Penfifteen and David S, you both gave hilarious answers. However, at this point David has 3 thumbs up, so that's who I vote for. Thanks to both of you.
Thanks to you All.

You may feel like you are floating above your bed but that feeling is normal if you have a low grade fever or are on some type of medication. I need more details to give you a better answer but throwing up is a symptom of many things. Is you stomach upset all the time, just when you eat or when it is empty?
All the best and good health to you.

FLOATING? Dude, you could start touring with a circus or something. That's definitely something I'd pay to see, a floating person! Anyway, I'm not sure what's wrong with you. Maybe try duct taping yourself to your bed. That might help. Or wear like those leg and wrist weights, you know, like the weighted arm bands for exercising. As for the throwing up, keep the trash can around you. Maybe take some tums and eat some crackers, nothing spicy.

some physiological changes are happening in your body...
there are possible physiologic causes that can lead you to feel that way..
it maybe can be caused with the diet..
are you modifying your diet lately? or are you taking up some diet pills?
it can be also caused if your taking some medications..
pregnancy is a big question also...
how bout drinking too much of something? like milk, coffee or even water...
try to assess your self and if still have the question in mind dont hesitate to visit your doctor.. in that way its much safer than guessing and asking people in yahoo.. hehehe
thanks and hope it helps..

Well i know that it really doesn't align with psychosis, but it sounds like an out of body experience, what kind of books are u reading and why do u think you are throwing up everywhere? check out your symptoms on the Internet, i kinda of think you are asking this just to get some attention, and the real symptom isn't quiet out yet, just me.

The feeling of floating can be caused by dehydration. I would go to your doctor, but I would make sure that you're drinking enough water.

Floating above your bed and throwing up?! Sounds like you either been drinking something potent(floating sensation and throwing up) or it's all in your head.

You're dead.
Or having out-of-body experiences.
Whatever it is, you should get it checked out. O_o
