When Jesus told his disciples they would be with him, he was speaking to them as a special group--not to mankind in general. No one in the Bible was recorded to have gone to heaven--except Jesus. So, why make the exception as a rule?

We are just pieces in a game of chess between God and the Devil. The board is the earth and our lives are results of their moves. When we die we just go back in the box to await for the next game.

The prophecy is that the 7th Angel/Prophet will be the one who comes at the end time and 'finishes the mystery of God'. Rev. 10:7 EVERY religon has prophecies about end time - yet there is only one Seventh Angel. Could it be that each religion actually is sent by One God and there was a great mystery about God and His Plan until this 7th Angel/Prophet?

Who is that 7th Angel? and what does He reveal?

If im a good person and don't swear, pay my taxes, don't abuse or hurt anyone, non drinker, don't use drugs, and obey all our laws. And I go to church will I get into heaven?

Please understand I do not mean this to belittle anyone. I have recently lost someone dear to me and I lean heavily on God and my faith during this loss. I am just curious as a result as to where if anywhere athesits find comfort. Please forgive my asking if it is offensive please do not post.And if I have hurt anyone who may be facing this today please know that is not my intention and I am sorry.

No Prosthelyzing. Just once, I'd like to have an open religious discussion without trying to be saved. Please keep your answers relevant to the question.

No, I'm not attacking Christianity, I just honestly want to know. I have a Christian friend and during a discussion she stated that nowhere in the bible did it discuss free will or tolerance for others. That kind of seemed contradictory to what I know of Christianity. Looking for open discussion from either side of the issue for my own education.

hi guys i am a MUSLIM i have been(on yahoo question and answer) from last 3 week belive me this world still has very nice people i have seen question from people who INSLUT ISLAM but i have also seen that VERY NICE answer given to that question by CHIRSTIAN it shows that every religion has good and bad guys to that people who insult other religion i dont know what religion u r from but try not to INSULT any one religion look at that chirstian guys who uses there brain and answer u dont have no brain i love this guys the good guys(chirstian) and also to let u know to that peopl who insult others religion my gf is a CHIRSTIAN and i am a MUSLIM i respect her and her religion but guys who insultcome on grow up most of NON MUSLIM over here are very nice they dont insult any one when will this war finish between muslims and non muslims when will we have peace i am sorry i have not asked any question but i wanted u guys to know about my fellings thats it coz as a muslim i respect everyone

Why is it so hard for some people to believe in such things as Ghosts and Evil spirits, But not god. isn't it just as plausable to believe the world was created by God and not a Giant Explosion? I understand that there are alot of holes in the Religious Belief. But aren't there just as many in the Scientific Beliefs?
