If you like to go to church then go.

Remember you will lose your freinds if you are one of the types whom is always pushing your religion on your friends. I have freinds that I really like and would hang out with them if they would just keep their god at home and leave me out of it. It don't matter if your freinds are church goers or not. The fact you are always pushing your own personal belifs on them will make them avoid you.

So there is nothing wrong with you beliveing in any god you want to long as it don't affect the world you live in. Religion is getting people killed everyday and I did not think that was what it was all about.

To me, church is a school except it teaches religion rather than math or writing. Just like school, some enjoy going, some don't. I don't mind going to church. I'll never know everything, so it's not like I won't learn from the experience. It also gives me a chance to mingle with others who I don't see much of the rest of the week. And it provides a place of comfort for those who need it, a place to seek help. Spiritually, I feel church is there to get you on your way, and to help keep you pointed in the right direction. But I also feel God cares more about what you do in your daily existence than what you do for a couple of hours on Sundays. So, while I like church and see where it has a beneficial service to it's members and the community, I also see where it isn't 100% required once you know the path. And it's comforting to know it'll always be there if I ever feel the need for it, like a lifeboat on a ship going through the sea.

I personally think that people chose a church based some what on their personality.
I'm a non denominational Preacher and have found that people that attend, for instance, a Methodist Church have a different personality than those that attend a Baptist or Pentecostal Church.
They all carry the message, or at least the root of it, so I've never been overly concerned.

Doing what is good and beneficial to us and others is what life is all about. Then knowing what is good and beneficial becomes important, don't you think so?
