God and the Devil are imaginary characters, just like Santa and the Easter Bunny. Therefore, the analogy is absurd. When are humans going to take responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming supernatural powers for their evil deeds?

The basic premise is incorrect. The devil does not have the power of God. In addition, if you believe man has free will, he is not controlled by either God or the Devil.
Both temptations and the road to salvation are put before us. It's our choice which way we will go.

It's kind of weak. We make our own moves/decisions. A better one is the one where people say we are pawns of the government.
When the government controls the media (and they do) they can manipulate our feelings and actions very easily.
