Why does god create us?

2006-08-13 02:17:36 · 32 answers · asked by Anonymous

In the Armianists view Jesus loves a persons freewill option more than he loves the person. He would rather let a person make their ignorant, sinful, stupid decision than over rule them out of eternal love and save them from the horrible fate of eternal torment. He loves the idea of their freewill decision more than them as a person.

After all if god (or whatever) is omnipotent then he/she/it probably wont care anyway, it will just save us all killing ourselves about stupid theological questions. Wipe out the heathens! why dont we wipe out the church instead? (im betting some people will get really eggy about this question)

So why do all the bible quoting folks on here get so offended when someone has exercised their freedom of choice to ask a question which queries the substance of their belief?

Like, if we find intelligent life on another planet, would God have made them as well as us? And, why did he make them different if we are "made in their own image" as it were.

For example, Christians believe in the apocalyptic end of the World.

Are there beliefs that aren't built on such a disastrous perspective?

The Bible says that when we die we will face God on Judgement day and give an account of every thought word and deed. The Ten Commandments will be Gods standard, and If we Have lied or stolen or looked with lust God should punish us in a place called Hell. But Jesus christ suffered and died to tak eht punishment you deserve for your sins. Have you repented and put your faith and trust in Jesus? Are you ready to face God on Judgement day?

I would like to know your view on this question.

Just curious to what extent people mix with those who disagree with them.

Obviously not exact figures, just a rough estimate.

Genesis 12:

14: And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.

15: The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.

16: And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.

Regardless whether the bible is truthful, why do so many claim the bible considers marriage sacred or sex outside of marriage to be forbidden?

Or, is this another one of those "the bible doesn't really mean what it says" kind of deals?
