They should have.
Though I think the point is moot to ask this question since they aren't inclined to understand what it means (you know, lacking in the deep thinking department).

I am no jew and I consider myself chosen, I was perfectly and uniquely made in his image and likeness. I am also a catholic and I have no doubts about Jesus, because as ignorant as this may sound, I don't believe that jews are the chosen people, we all are chosen people, once we are alive and breathing god's air!

Hmm, I can see that your religious upbringing was sadly lacking.
The 12 disciples were Jews who became Christians because Jesus selected them. The Jews who couldn't bring themselves to give up their places of power were the ones who rejected and sacrificed him.
This is what Jesus knew would happen.
There are no doubts in my mind about Jesus, since I got into a church where I understand what the preacher is saying about the bible.
Yes, I take it on faith that Jesus walked this earth. That's the way of Christianity.
I hope that you will eventually get over your atheism and come to Him before it's too late.
God Bless and Keep you.

No. The Jews are God's chosen, but since they denied the divinity of Christ, they will only get to heaven after the Second Coming of Jesus...once he has a word with em'.

They also believe they are grafted into that "Chosen" thing. Those that don't see it as being grafted in, a Spiritual Jew as some call it, they don't see Jews as the Chosen people. They believe God has turned his back on the Jews and has now chosen the "gentiles"/Christians.
Really united, aren't they?

No.
In fact, the stronger a Christian is in his faith, the more he respects Jews.
