I would never even think of aborting or disowning my child. I don't agree with the gay lifestyle, but I have NO problem with the people as long as they don't try to shove their lifestyle down my throat. People who are "gay" are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. To each their own. And my child is my child, no matter what, I would love them just as much the day I found out (if) they were gay, as the day I first felt them move in my womb. It's sad that some people have even given a hint that they would do such a thing.

Well it's a bit rich of you to say people have not looked into the question when you then radically altar the concept of the question. In essence you are making "anti-gay people" synonymous with "religious people". Sorry but this just isn't on. People can be anti -gay or pro gay, they can be religious and anti-religious and any combination therein, a bit like people's sexuality, covering a whole spectrum!
You were so quick off the mark to try and be controversial that your brain couldn't keep up with your finger strokes (to type that is). In my opinion, anyone who aborts a child or disowns it ( and especially for being gay) does not deserve the privilege of being a parent (my opinion)

I think you need to let go of your own hate bro. Religious people are not hateful people as a rule. No, they would not abort a baby for any reason. They may not approve of our lifestyle but then again, they don't need to. Let it go. They can think what they will because this is America. I think religious people are very tolerant and kind as a rule. I think the anti gay people you are thinking about are the closet cases, not the religious types. For them, they need kindness and understanding too. I got a few of them under my wing. Even they are not so hateful and mean as they first appear. They are just hurt and confused.

Okay, I am thinking very carefully!
Do you really think that sexual persuasion can be tested prenatally?
We have a number of friends that are 'gay'. Only one of them would I describe as being 'clinically' gay - the others have decided to be that way by choice.
I do think that there are imbalances in the human body that cause people to have a sexual preference that is perhaps not quite as nature intended. But I also think that in today's society, people CHOOSE to be gay rather than having a condition that caused it.
Maybe there could be a test for a potentially 'clinically gay' foetus - and no, I would not have the child aborted.
Anti gay? In general, probably yes. I don't like to see men and men or women and women snogging in the bar - but then again, I don't really like to see overt sexual practises in public, anyway.
I also do not think that a gay couple should be allowed to adopt a child. Now that one might cause a few remarks!!
This could be a wide issue - but the basic answer is abortion. It is murder!

absolutely not.
First of all, being gay could also be an aspect of what takes place during childbirth and could promote such inclinations through childhood.
We never really know what the person will eventually be like.
How do you know it won't be BIsexual?

If someone told me my child was gay in the womb I would say is hein there alone. So your telling me that he already has a mindset for sex and it is for the same sex. I would say get a grip. first of all there ain't no such thing as gay humans. That is a discriptive title that has been labeled on people that have had same sex experience in the past, yes the past, unless they are doing it right this minute and reading this too. And somehow feel that is going to be the way they feel the rest of their life. How in the hell does anybody, let alone a fetus, know the future, without someone telling it to them? In which case it would have to be a prophet or a fortuneteller, and I haven't seen either in a delivery room lately.
God does not grow cherries on apple trees and he does not grow fetuses knowing sexual preferance. It is pretty wierd that you have to teach a child how to breast feed at birth, but according to science they already know how to breed, or excuse me, have same sex sex. The breeding probably is programed into the brain someplace and the desire for sex comes with it. To whom you are going to have this sex with, I don't think that is predestined.
Please change the title I am sick of the one that has been prepetuated on the so called community of humans that consider themselves addicted to others of the same sex. Gay is almost reminding of someone prancing through the fields with ribbons flyinging in the air and proclaiming happiness to all. No, sorry that is a fairy. Woops! another demeaning title. I do understand the political ramifications of having a title to your so called community of humans that prefer abstract sex. Gotta have power if you are going to try and convince or deceive the World into believing there is even such a thing as a homosexual. Face it you are a human. The past is gone, the future is not here yet. You are right here right now reading this. Is this gay behavior? Then how will that behavior ever enter into your reality again? You will have to allow it. How will it get into tomorrow? It will have to hitchhike on your conciousness, and you will have to allow that too. You Have Free Will.

Thats nonsense. A baby isn't born gay, they choose to be gay during their teenage years by confusion. Ones sexual acts doesnt really makes a person gay. If a boy act like a girl and still he loves the opposite sex then his not gay. If a baby is a hermaphrodite and they cut the wrong organs off, there might be a chance that he/she might turn gay.

Well, I'm not anti-gay, but I would never abort over something so trivial as being gay! Are you simply playing devil's advocate by asking this?

i think ppl that believe in God should remember, they should not judge only the creator can make such judgements.
iam not sure that ppl are born gay though i think during a critical period around adolescence/puberty they had some sort of negative experience.
