If not, then does that mean that the course of our lives are already predetermined?

Please cite references from the bible to support your opinion one way or the other.

Joshua 24:15-16. Israel was free to choose whom to serve--the gods of their forefathers or Jehovah.

Deut 30:16-19 Israel was free to choose between good and evil; between life or death.

So, yes we have free will--to choose what we want and whom to serve.

No, our lives are not predetermined. If you believe that God is love, then it would be unloving for him to destine people to everlasting death.

Some may argue that the Bible contains passages where evil men will be destroyed. Yes, that is true. But, that is only true for a group--not for individuals. Individuals may choose to leave that group destined by God to destruction.

No predestination.

Freedom in Christ from Satan, sin, and death.

Here's a pretty good new testament passage for you:

Gal 4:21 Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, have you not read the law?
Gal 4:22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman and the other by a free woman.
Gal 4:23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh: but he of the free woman was by promise.
Gal 4:24 Which things are said by an allegory. For these are the two testaments. The one from Mount Sina, engendering unto bondage, which is Agar.
Gal 4:25 For Sina is a mountain in Arabia, which hath affinity to that Jerusalem which now is: and is in bondage with her children.
Gal 4:26 But that Jerusalem which is above is free: which is our mother.
Gal 4:27 For it is written: Rejoice, thou barren, that bearest not: break forth and cry thou that travailest not: for many are the children of the desolate, more than of her that hath a husband.
Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
Gal 4:29 But as then he that was born according to the flesh persecuted him that was after the spirit: so also it is now.
Gal 4:30 But what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman.
Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not the children of the bondwoman but of the free: by the freedom wherewith Christ has made us free.

I will not go the entire bible.

In Genesis, in the garden of Eden, God gave Adam the free will to name all the animals. In the same chapter, God gave man the free will to eat from all the trees, except one that will not be good for us.

In the 4 gospels, when Jesus came to earth in human flesh, He gave people the free will to be heal. He never forced the people to be healed. His provision is there but some don't want to receive it because of their unbelief.

We have free will
philem
14 but without thy mind I would do nothing; that thy goodness should not be as of necessity, but of free will.

There is no predestination!!!!!!!!!

A few are predestined
Romans 8
30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

If it does, it's wrong. You don't have "free" will if you don't know the true consequences of your decisions/actions.
