What you are describing is someone who is socially acceptable and a good citizens of the USA. But as a believer it won't get you the time of day or a cup of coffee at Starbuck's.

The Bible indicates that we must believe that God sent His only Son to die for our sins. We must believe that Christ died for our sins. We must believe that Christ rose from the dead. We must believe that He would have done it for me if I was the only person on the face of the earth.

Keeping His commandments have nothing to do with salvation. Giving everything away doesn't have anything to do with salvation. Giving your body to be burned has nothing to do with it. IT is your HEART and FAITH. Remember---Christ accepts only our absolute faith---because our righteousness is as filthy rags compared to Him.

And---you ARE the church.

Will you give all that you have to the church and go full-time with your church?

This is the same question and answer Jesus gave the rich young ruler in the 4 gospels.

None of us can be justified by our own right doing. God's standard is so high that none of us can meet it and if we fail in one, we fail in everything. So all of us need Jesus and by Jesus can we be justified.

Believe in Jesus. Believe that He is the Son of God who came and died for ALL your sins and God punished Him and resurected Him because He has paid fully for ALL your sins so that today and forever more, you are righteous before God. When you know how much and what Jesus has done for you, you will not be worried about the passage to heaven, you will ever be thankful and praising Him.

First you have to admit you are a sinner, second you have to accept Jesus, third you must be baptized, fourth you have to have a relationship with the Father, and that means daily reading your Bible, and praying with the Father, fifth, we are to live and follow the example of Jesus, and witness to others. But remember our good deeds or works isn't what will get us into heaven only the first 4 comments will. Because God said that our works won't get us into heaven, lest we brag and say what a good job we did.

If I were judging (I'm not) you would go to heaven(if there is a heaven) you seem to fit the criteria for it.I'm sure the bible thumpers will say you must be saved(from what I'm not sure,it seems you lead an exemplary life) or born again(who wants to go thru that again) But good luck in your application for the after life. You sound like a sure thing to me ,but I'm non believer so my vote on this one doesn't count to the organized religious cults and churches.

No.
There is nothing you can 'DO' to get into heaven...except this...
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart.
(It also helps if you're already FROM heaven ;)
Only thru faith in HIS' works, can we be delivered from sin.
Once you REPENT and are BAPTISED in His' name (ACTS 2:38), then you will be filled with His' Spirit (Baptism of the Holy Ghost), and ONLY THIS will give you the power to live above unrighteousness.
Trying to do it by your own efforts will never work.
We are all born in sin. There is none righteous. Not one.
He was innocent...yet He BECAME sin, so He could destroy it.
He then died, went into hell, conqurred it, took it's keys, and then resurrected back to life.
Faith in THIS is what gives us Eternal Life.
Only the Blood of Jesus can cleanse us and make us righteous...again (redeem us)...as we were made in His image, but He allowed us to be put in these sinful bodies...til He could redeem us once again, back to our original state (this is a Mystery that few understand).
You're either a child of God, or a child of the devil.

If you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and put off the old life and take on the life of Christ, then you will go to heaven. All that other stuff that you mention is worldliness, and worldliness will only get you a one-way ticket to hell. Yes, you should do all those things, but they are not enough. Jesus and only Jesus is the way.

There is no heaven. There is no hell. When you are dead you will return to the dust. Natures law, man.

You should be doing the right thing because it is the right thing. If you only do things because you want to prove how wonderful you are, you are a loser.
