It cant be that mating thing...I dont want to have a baby...yikes...nooooooo way...besides...Im not married....plz advise....

Most religions believe hes needs your prayers constantly.

Most religions believe he needs a relationship with you.

All religions believe he needs so degree of ritualism from you, a little song and dance.

One religion believes he needs obsessive compulsive zombies who bow down five times a day....for life!

Ohhhh....I know...he doesnt need it...he merely asks for it just based on the principle of the thing....sorry that just doesnt wash...if God doesnt need it, and you dont need it, its a waste.

Not to be a *****, but doesn't it seem to you like He's just given up on us all? People who don't care for people rule them, control business and even claim to speak for Him, often commiting acts He says that he would condemn (ie, fundamentalist Paul Hill murdered both an abortion doctor and his driver , showing no remorse for his actions or the grief he caused, saying that he would gladly kill again for the sake of unborn babies). There is widespread suffering and disease, pandemics are on the doorstep, the environment is in the shitter, children go hungry, are kidnapped and forced into becoming prostitutes, slaves or child soldiers, and yet all the while the majority of the people of the West do nothing and care little, too absorbed in their own lives to give two shits about Lebanese civilians killed by Israeli air strikes.
What gives? If God is a loving god, why does he allow suffering? I also want to mention that to say its all according to his will/plan, is shameful complacency.

What are the benefits of a celibate lifestyle from a personal perspective? Does it lead to a stronger sense of self since one is not exchanging his/her power and all that intimacy encompasses with another individual?

The image appears to be that of an older man. Anyway, would God allow this to be discovered by man knowing that as Christians we are to have faith in the God we can't see, that we don't need to see till judgment day? We don't need idols, just faith there is a God. Can I get an Amen?

Dont you love these super super stupid imbecil-a-hamic mono-idiotic-religious ideas of God? The silly three books describe an "angry" and "jealous" God. Well, "their" God is one pathetic God isnt he (and they always speak possessively of 'their' God)?

This is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore in Alabama. I want to know what you think of this. Do you agree with this or not? Any thoughts you have I would like to know.

America the Beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine,
Choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain.

From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray.

We've kept God in our temples,
how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges
who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not angry,
that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?

How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?

If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face
and mend our evil way:

Then God will hear from Heaven
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.

But, America the Beautiful,
if you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee.

~Judge Roy Moore

He's a carpenter's son. That doesn't necessarily mean he was a carpenter does it? Where in the bible does it show Jesus making anything a carpenter would make?

Does the constant thought of the afterlife, for those who believe, keep one from actually living the life they are given? Do they compromise themselves when it comes to life experiences here on earth because they only care about where they will go after their body dies?

In that scope, is life a 'punishment' to be endured?

I am at a loss as to what Muslim, Buddhist, etc. really stands for. Anyone interested in shedding some light? I don't mean nasty opinions, I mean for real. I just wondered what the major differences were and what they stood for. Anyone of a different religion, please answer and tell me a little about your "God" and what you believe and why. Doesn't have to be long. Thanks.

I'm a big believer in angels. I truely believe that angels ARE here on earth and that WE, ourselves, could even be an angel to someone. I also believe that Angels not only come in the form as humans, but also animals.
Is there anyone else who has the same opinion?

That maybe GOD is real but that evolution is too. Maybe GOD put what we call BACTERIUM, and just let things unravel and maybe science and religion can actually coexist?

Does it make him any less than he was by being human like his peers, and having a wife and kids? What difference does it honestly make if he was married? With this, why are Christians so ready to deny the Dead Sea Scrolls, and so willing to deny the editing of the Bible that Constantine and King James committed. It's common knowledge that they rewrote them to suit their royal needs to keep the common folk in check. So, why are these Neo-Christians so fired up about denying all of this? And I'm being very serious in asking these questions, because it's for some of these reasons that I am no longer Christian and I honestly have no respect for Christians. I just want some honest, legitimate answers, please.
