Most religions believe hes needs your prayers constantly.

Most religions believe he needs a relationship with you.

All religions believe he needs so degree of ritualism from you, a little song and dance.

One religion believes he needs obsessive compulsive zombies who bow down five times a day....for life!

Ohhhh....I know...he doesnt need it...he merely asks for it just based on the principle of the thing....sorry that just doesnt wash...if God doesnt need it, and you dont need it, its a waste.

God doesn't need us. i mean, he created us, why should he need us?
most religions DON'T believe he needs your prayers constantly. WE need the prayers. we need to establish some connection with our creator, because otherwise there's not real purpose in life, because we are lost and confused and all that. ditto with the relationship--wtf should he need a relationship with us? it's ultimately for our good if we decide to open up the communication lines with him.
and same with the rituals. it's not for everyone, but it does help some people realize that they're in the presence of God and puts them in the right mentality. you have to remember that not all people have the same backgrounds--some do have different methods of reaching God.
now, about the ocd zombies bowing down 5 times a day every day--that's a little weird.
faith is necessary for prayer, and i've seen it get attacked a lot, so i'm going out on a limb and saying that it does help. every single prayer gets answered, and although i don't always get what i want, i get what i need, which is really what's important, right?

God doesn't need your prayers. It one of the ways us Christians talk with God, the other way is by reading the Bible.

God doesn't need a relationship with you, He desires to have a relationship with you.

It is not a waste of time to love and obey the Lord because he always provides for my needs. I love him because I know he is there and real. I love Him because I choose to and not because He needs me to.

nothing is a waste when it comes to our LORD and SAVIOR i cant praise him enough if it were not for him we would not be here i thank him each and every day of my life he could have taken me long ago yet he sees fit to spare me there are praises in our songs and dances and if it took all day to bow down to him count me in he is the supplier of my life and no he dont need a relationship with me i need him he already owns us we are his he loaned us to this earthly world and you can best believe hes comming back for us the question will we be able to go back with him and resign in his home[mansion]

God doesn't need anything from us but He does require that we are obedient to His will. But what it sound like is that you need Him. Why don't you take this opportunity to start your relationship with by allowing Him to come into your heart. He's is waiting to hear from you.

Prayer is meant to be meditation, not song and dance. Prayer is not menat for God, it's meant for the pray-er.

There will not be a God with no followers because blind faith is the only thing keeping the "God" concept alive.
