Wat do you think Jesus looks like? I get tired of seeing paitings of Jesus with long flowing blond hair,pale skin, and blue eyes which is odd since his mother was Jewish. By the way I'm not a christian, I'm just curious as to what people think.

I think some Greek philosopher started it, but Christianity adopted it, and even the Bible makes reference to people of these certain temperaments.

They are: choleric, sanguine, phlegmatic and melancholic.

Which one are you, if you know them?


I am a mixture of choleric and melancholic (extroverted with introverted). That's why I am so crazy.

Carefully reading the old testament you will discover that most of the original hebrews were of a darker race. Moses was mistaken as a dark skin egyptian, Ephraim the largest of the hebrew tribes was a tribe of darker skin people because their mother was egyptian. Moses was mistaken as a egyptian he was a levite. he also married a black ethopian woman. The disease of racism as blinded both black and whites of the facts. I will love to get feedback on this question.

Does not it say, somewhere, in the bible that you should respect your fellow man or something along those lines? Correct me if I am wrong...I do not mind corrections...life is very much a learning curve. I am tired of all the people posting and challenging Atheists, asking them to recognize god or why the don't see the "truth." The truth is different for everyone. Can not we just be tolerant people, and let people live their own lives, without forcing our beliefs upon them...without backing people into a metaphorical corener just so they relent! Christianity is not suppossed to be scared or forced into people. Whatever religion is right for that person...let it be. It is more than okay to inform...but not to conform.

Can you see the contradictions in your philosophy ? You say there is no supernatural or God...you say this about a realm you cant see...yet you swear ur sure its not there..How do you know these things ? You dont even know whats inside you... You have to get x rays, blood tests. pap smears, etc. You have to go elsewhere for knowledge of yourself...and ur condition...if you dont even know that.about yourself ...then how could you ever be trusted to know whats in the God realm ? In my heart ? What Jesus is and has done ? You dont even know ur self and its inner conditions...Do you see how unreliable you are ? If you dont know you..how can I trust your declarations about someone else you dont even yet know ? i.e. God .... and His sweet Son Jesus? have you had me x rayed and seen Hes not inside me ? No..you havent...you dont know.....but I do...Ive seen Him...

Okay,im 13 and im going to make my conformation this year(conformation-to conform that i am a catholic,for like ever)
And ive done alot of thinking,im not catholic. I dont believe in god or anything. My teacher said if you chose not to be a catholic,dont come to school the year you make it. But im going to the same school. Im scared to death about telling my mom/family because they're hardcore catholics.
Should i go through the conformation? Or should i tell everyone about my "religion"?

i asked a similar question earlier but was missunderstood
according to catholic teachings what is the official teaching on Protestant Denominations and heaven. i have been to mass and i thought i hear the preist say something on the hand of "lord we pray for our Protestant brothers may they come back to your church(catholic) and walk in the fullness of your love again".

if you dont "walk in the fullness of christ" doesnt that mean you are going to hell
at that time i was lutheran now i am agnostic, but i am asking if i heard right and if i am drawing the conclusion right

It is eay to backslide. I have been backslid for 3 years, Has any one made it back after backsliding? Just somthing I wanted to know as I am thinking about trying to get back in church and the thought of it kind of scares me. I know this is not the best place to ask this kind of quetion, but since I have been out of church I have pretty much cut myself off from everyone I know in church

How dare the Atheists refute Christianity with secular logics?
Why they don't understand that their logic is not applicable
to Christianity? Why the non-christian use anti logics to refute Christianity?Christianity is based on biblical divine logics which are proved 1000 times. Read The Bible. Biblical logics are based on proved axioms and proved hypothesis unlike their seculat logics and anti logics.
It's the way to your salvation and it's the ultimate truth.
Why? It's so simple that a 5 years old child will understood.
Because Bible says so.
