The same way I'd respond if anyone else cursed at me...they are obviously looking for a reaction and to see if it bothers you....what I would do is either ignore them or tell them you don't care to talk with them any longer if they are going to treat you in such a disrespectful way

I would probably not do or say anything, at least as a retaliation. I wouldn't preach either. Some people are just like that, and I try to be a good example to others by showing patience, kindness, and compassion. I don't curse others for any reason, but when in a confrontation, I maintain my temper, and try to be reasonable even when the other person/persons aren't.

If you don't believe in God now, you will when you die...

Ummm...
Flunked language, huh??
or...
Boy, I hope your God doesn't let you into heaven or wherever based on how good you are....
lastly...
Don't let evolution make a monkey out of you----oh, it already has??
oops..I repent...

seriously, I would say, "Do you feel better now? Got that out of your system?" Then maybe offer them to call you if they ever want to talk about beliefs in a calm manner...of course, that would mean you'd have to know what and why you believe whatever it is that you believe... That still puts the ball in their court. Just remember, no matter how other people act, we need to deal with the situation in a way that is pleasing to God. It's hard to not want to yell back but we shouldn't--if we do, it ruins our whole testimony...

ladetina2cute4u,
I would claim a promise from God. I am a child of Abraham by faith, and God said that I will bless those that bless you and curse them that curse you.

That's what makes me Christian. The fact that I have faith in 'thus saith the word of the Lord.' What He says is true.

'Forever oh Lord, They word is settled in heaven.

It's like that. And 'vengeance is mine, saith the Lord.'

What does an Atheist have? The grave.

It makes me feel sorry for them, actually.

turn the other cheek and let it go thru one ear and out the other. You dont need to curse back or get into a fight about it . they have there theory on different issues and and you have yours. Let it be. good luck

Quote (to myself) "No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and I condemn every tongue that rises up against me in judgement, this is my inheritance" ...Isaiah 54:16
Then I would bless that person..like Jesus taught us, bless those who curse you and despisefully use you"
When you make a quality decision to walk in the love of God no matter what, you leave the door open to God to operate on your behalf. You don't have to "like" to "love" love is a decision we make by faith.

not everyone believes as i believe and the reason i believe like most Christians do is i feel the presents of God so i know that he is. so if someone that does not believe say something bad it is just because God has not shown his self to them so i would be understanding

Matthew chapter 18

21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
