i don't know!! i am a strong christian as i am guessing you are also. I have no idea why people do that. they are just trying to bring people down with them. i have seen that God has shown me how many people don't believe in him this past week and its pretty sad to me. i have been praying for all these people. i have been posting as much as i can so that i can help spread the word and possibly save these people. they're just not on the path of righteousness and are falling for Satan's temptations and evils. I just pray that they realize there is a God and he loves them unconditionally and that all they have to do is accept him.

I saw a question earlier asking what non-believers believed how they got there. they all said evolution from monkeys and stuff. well, how did the monkey's appear? i am a strong christian and i know God created everything here. it makes so much sense when you just believe. people ask how did God exist? well, nobody knows for sure but you can ask him in Heaven. God is powerful and can do amazing things. He is capable of so much that our tiny minds can't even imagine.

At camp someone said this, a speaker. God has so many things in store for us in Heaven so many amazing things. Imagine like a new fruit every month. Or a new color every day. Try thinking of a new color thats not already invented or thought of. Well, all colors are here on earth which God put here. it's impossible to think of another one. God could come up with millions easily.

I think it's sad and i feel sorry for and am praying for those people who don't believe. I would just hope they stop trying to bring Christians down with them. If you ever want to talk about God, please e-mail me.

God bless.

The devil, sin and rebellion, but you have to admit when you have evolution, big bang and primordial soup shoved down your throat as fact at school it does make Adam and Eve look pretty laughable. (For years, I sort of just believed both, illogical as that is.) However, evolutionists neglect to mention that evolution is still a belief which can not be properly tested with scientific method. People laugh at Genesis, but if you believe in an all powerful God, how is it not possible? In any event, after centuries of persecution (which still continues today) a little mocking in Yahoo answers isn't such a big deal. God will be contested to the last minute.

This isn't a blog - but to answer your question seriously, as a Christian myself, people mock our faith because we mock theirs. If we want ot be treated with respect - Christians as a whole need to show more respect for people of different/no religious affiliation. We don't have to agree with them, but one of the primary concepts of Christianity is acceptance and nonjudgement and many Christians are not capable of showing love and respect to people who are different.

well for me its how the religious right wants to have a theocracy in the country
i fought in the military for people to have their believes and the religous right is trying to take away everyone elses rights
so its like right down the list abortion, intelligent design in school, gay marriage (which is already illegal in 48 states, so why do we need an amendment to the constitution)

so i am reading the bible 60 minutes a day and find all kinds of nonsense in it like 1 kings 7:23 or exodus 21:20-21 or 1 john 2:22 or romans 1:28-31 and its obvious to me this book isnt about god and i come on here trying to understand how can one read this and think its god

The driving force is people's assumption I believe as they do. A lot of people use God, faith, and religion as fact. By definition, it is just not so. You have to believe it as there is no, nor can there be, proof.

I would say that people are upset for this reason: All people, regardless of creed or nationality, seek Truth. That truth is very different for many people. For atheists, such as myself, that truth tends to be science and the knowledge which we can gain by observing our physical reality. For religious folks, that typically means finding God through faith, scripture, meditation etc. It is interesting that almost all people, regardless of which "variety" of truth they seek, want to extend that truth to other people, because this truth is what gives people motivation to be alive and happy. People feel a need to spread truth (Think of religious missionaries converting people, or atheists on this site pestering religious people). Because peoples' conceptions of truth are very central to their identity, this can lead to a lot of frustration, anger, irritation and dispute. I would say people need to just talk to each other and understand that other people are different...people don't learn best when yelling at each other- It usually hardens their ignorant resolve.

It is the same driving force which drives Christians to tell non-believers that they are going to hell if they don't repent and change their evil ways: the desire to spread what one sees as truth, combined with an antagonism for those who can't see 'the truth,' and those who specifically oppose what seems to be obvious fact.

Please don't confuse mocking and questioning. i understand that you may take your faith very seriously. don't assume that any question towards your faith is a derogatory statement. there are alot of people in the world and not all of them believe in God. Of course some people ar just mean or cocky or ignorrant.

The Holy Spirit moved an apostle to write, “We are not ignorant of Satan’s devices.” Christ warned his disciples to “be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” The Israelites sent out spies before entering the promised land. Within the text of The Art of War by Sun-Tzu (a book studied today by men in intelligence), he discusses “hidden provocation agents” in Book 13.

Sun-Tzu was born in 534 B.C. and lived most likely until after the year 453 B.C. In 500 B.C., some men were farmers, and some were agent provocateurs. Today, both occupations still exist. The modern American farmer is vastly superior to the ancient farmer of 500 B.C., so how does the modern agent provocateur compare? He is vastly superior also. It appears the Word of God is accurate, for it warns that God’s people, or God’s children will be destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Let me repeat that for you. The driving force that you desire to know about sits right in front of you and you either choose to ignore it or you don’t know how to recognize it as it really is. And for many, they do recognize it and still choose to ignore it.

The difficulty in obtaining honest information in today’s Big Brother world is aptly described by an intelligence asset over the Internet. Asking a question about driving forces as such is a simple example of this. “If you are lucky and work hard, you will find some of the truth. If you are lucky and work REALLY hard, you might find the WHOLE truth...as someone wants you to know it. If you are PHENOMENALLY lucky and really work your tail off, you might even go on to find the REAL truth. But no outsiders...and in fact, very few insiders ever ... EVER ... learn the WHOLE REAL truth.”

Contrary to what your media spoon-fed minds may perceive to be truth, in actuality, is so far from it that John Q Public will never get it right until it’s to late. This is the beautiful planet earth but, it belongs to Satan. He was thrust down here to reside until the prophesied coming of someone greater then he. Look it up in the bible. It stares you in face.

Satan has, and already does rule this fine planet through his secret chain of command, the illuminati’s and the Rothschild’s. But now he wants to openly rule the world’s hearts and to be publicly hailed as ruler and savior.

The New Age leaders are fully ready to cooperate with this "cleansing" from the earth of us bothersome disciples of Truth. In this respect, their thinking will resemble the Nazi’s rationalizations that people must pay their Karmic debt, and shall benefit from being killed. How truth can be stood on its head! The Plans are already drawn up how to use rail lines to move large groups of civilians to labor camps. There are now a total of 121 prison camps scattered across America severing no useful purpose other than concentration camps. Complete with crematories. When we compare Nazi Germany with today’s New World Order plans, Nazi Germany can be seen to be the basic model of what Satan’s timetable includes for us these next few years .

So, what is the driving force? According to Revelations, God is going to have an angel open up a key to the abyss and teeming hordes of demonic spirits shall be descending and scattered upon the earth. There are armies of them already here. But you choose to ignore that too. My conclusion is that Satan has so many Anti-Christs available that past personal occult power is not necessary for the New World Order’s success.

We, the children of God, will if we are that faithful remnant, be spared from the Wrath of God, but we will not be spared from the tribulation of Satan which shall include martyrdom because this is HIS world. The planet we call earth.

CEM,
Pride for one.

I wonder myself what else might possess them into attacking us.

There are some, though that have a good reason. When you add the unfortunate complication of the Fred Phelps of the World, you are going to get some flack. It's just that we are all not like that, are we?
