Usaually, I am happy at receiving anything or doing the thing that I like. This doesn't last long.
Then at getting some new knowledge, this also doesn't last long.
Then at mixing with other happy people, this also fades away quickly.
Then at reading some good books. This lasts a little longer.
At seeing other people accepting the light from the One True God. This lasts quite long.
At serving humanity in mentioning and praising God. This lasts much longer.
At realizing that all God's bestowals are good. This lasts for years until this minute...

I'm happy when I'm with my friends. I know it sounds corny, but even if I'm having the worst day, I just see them and it seems to get better. What makes me happy is: rain, fresh-cut grass, the laugh of a happy child, when a complete stranger smiles at you and says hello in a non-creepy way, and the internet in general.

At the risk of sounding like a religious fruitcake, I will honestly say I'm happiest when I'm praying. I really love God and am therefore happiest when I'm dealing directly with Him. He loves me, too, which gives me great joy. Anytime I'm thinking about Him or studying about Him or talking to Him, I'm very happy.

There are things here on earth that make me happy, too, of course. I'm no stoic! I am very happy when listening to music that touches my soul, watching beautiful sunsets or steadily breaking waves, drinking hot tea with milk, and watching animals (or even people) just truly and freely being themselves. Animals are usually better at it, especially dogs, so they're the most fun to watch.

I'm also happy when I'm with folks who will enjoy me for myself and let me reciprocate. Presents -- giving or receiving -- make me happy, too. Lots of things make me happy, I guess, when I stop to think about it. I feel I could write tomes on the subject, but out of consideration will stop here.

I am generally happy because i CHOOSE to be happy. Bear in mind that to be happy u dont do whatever u like but like whatever u do...as it is happiness comes not from having much to live on but from having much to live for... hope this will inspire everyone like it inspired me..

When I feel God's presence when I pray and am reading the Bible.
Also hanging around wonderful friends makes me happy, so does my puppy.
Being in a beautiful setting also lifts my spirits.

Today I was dancing in my apartment to one of my favorite praise and worship songs. The sky was blue outside and the trees were green and I could hear the birds and the fountains from the lake. As I spun around and around I looked at my pretty apartment and thought about how generous God has been with me, giving me a life of beauty, peace, joy. He even saved my 91 year old father before he died, just days before he died, Dad said yes to Jesus. When I think of how God has restored my life, given me beauty for ashes, I can dance and dance with joy.
