No one should be eating pork for the same reason Jewish and Islamic people don't. Pork is an impure meat, not because of lack of refrigeration or the like but because Pigs only have one stomach. All the meat that is good for man to eat, comes from animals with multiple stomachs such as the cow, deer, elk, moose, etc. They all have a cloven hoof and chew their cud. This is how you tell pure from impure.

Well, religion aside let's look at where Islam and Judaism evolved, and when. The two don't-eat-pork religions evolved in a time where disease was seen as divine punishment and in a land where bacteria thrives. Think about how clean pigs are.
Starting to see this from a different angle?

well the religions like juddiusm, muslim, and Islam dont eat pork because they feel it is unclean. When you see a pig, what does it eat? I dont eat pork that much at all and Im christian. I just find it discusting to eat something that is always rolling around in its own crap, and eats something called scrap.

My former best friend is that religion. I remember her saying something like this: animals such as the cow & pig were really helpful to the Islams long ago, so if anybody of that religion eats any of their meat, it's considered rude after what the animals have done for the religion. Don't forget, I'm not sure if this is right.

Pork is prohibited already in the Hebrew Torah (Leviticus, Deuteronomy), and in Isaiah, which the Muslims take very seriously. Their holy book the Qur'an includes the same prohibition. The explanation is that pork is the source of many diseases, and that the pig is a very dirty animal.
The Qur'an says:
"Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked a name other than that of Allah." [Al-Qur’an 5:3]
This also reflects the rules stated by James in the book of ACTS.

elk312 said it right on the money. All I can add is that trichinosis was far more common in pigs back then before refrigeration, so God was 1) protecting the health His people by forbidding the consumption of swine that can be contaminated with trichina worm parasites, thus causing the people to be plagued with said parasite, and 2) protecting the dignity of His people by forbidding the consumption of a filthy, disgusting creature that eats and wallows in its own excrement.
The only exception to this rule is if a person is in a situation where s/he will starve if they don't eat what's forbidden; if forbidden foods are the only thing available to eat, then they can eat these things without guilt because it's better than starvation.

It was a health reason ppl got triconella and other stuff from eating pork that was not cooked well, somehow it turned into a religous belief. Think about it if god created all these wonders and set down profound laws that one must follow as a good person (i.e. do not kill, do not steal) etc then all of a sudden he/she throws in by the way don't eat pork....Hmmmmm sound fishy to me, sounds like someone don't like piggys.

Islamic law prohibits a Muslim from consuming alcohol, eating or drinking blood and its by-products, and eating the meat of a carnivore or omnivore, such as pork, monkey, dog or cat. For the meat of an animal to be halāl it must be properly slaughtered by a Muslim or a Person of the Book (Christian or Jew), while mentioning the name of God (Allah in Arabic); for instance, the animal may not be killed by being boiled or electrocuted, and the carcass should be hung upside down long enough to be blood-free.
Basically, these meats caused a lot of illness if they weren't properly prepared so they were forbidden so as to prevent the spread of disease.

Even the King James Bible says not to eat pork.
And if God released ALL animals for man to eat, then, why don't Christians eat horse meat?
