Like while you're driving and you just thought about Him, or when you're in the shower you suddenly want to sing about Him, or just about anything and you think of Him?

I saw a magazine called Lily in a bookstore a couple weeks ago. It had instructions on how to make a garden with plants in the Bible and everything. Have you seen it? Why would anyone think there needs to be a Christian alternative to Better Homes and Gardens or House and Garden, for pity's sake?

(I can't find a website for it.)

Why do Christians ignore their holy book's teachings (Do not judge others when you will be judged by your own god)? They seem to think that it is their right to judge us (pagans) and tell us that we are going to a place that we do not believe in? What makes them think they can bring this into the workplace??

.........and what did I get? Intelligent , thought out, rageful answers. Does an Atheist believe that his secular progressive ideas are NOT rammed down the throats of God believers. Recent societal changes are strong, and they are offensive to believers. I say this because alot of what I got with my last question was, Christianity is forced upon individuals(paraphrased). Right away, the question was perceived as an insult. Why? Its a question. Take it light.

Do you think God planned it to be this way? YES.......here's why....

1 Cor. 1:21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God WAS WELLPLEASED through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.......

...27 but God has CHOSEN the foolish things of the world to SHAME the 'WISE', and God has chosen the weak things which are strong,........

29 that no man should boast before God.

31 that, just as it is written, "Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord."

My old weatherboard shed in my backyard, was my fathers favourite place to work, (he was a bit of a handyman) he died about 2 years ago, ever since then, my dog will not go into that shed at all, and my 2 kids (12 & 14) have told me that they hear banging coming from the old shed really late at night (as if someone is hammering) could it be the ghost of my dead father in the shed??????

I've seen a lot of Elvis Impersonators, and two things are obvious; they don't look like Elvis, and they all look alike.

Is it impossible for some Christians to let Christ do the thinking, the arguing, and let him win the hearts and minds of the people? Show the love, and the people will come...

Since none of us remember existing before we were born, what makes anyone think that we'll exist after we die?

I heard from somewhere that God used to speak directly to people like Adam. Adam would be able to just stand up and hear what God had to say to him, but I also heard that God at one point stopped directly communicating with his people. Why is this so? any clues?

I guess I could consider myself a christian, i was baptised catholic and confirmed, but for some reason, I have never really felt god as a big part of my life. I hate goin to church, i never think that god can help me at all. It may be because my little brother is really messed up and hes only 12, and hes had like 5 brain surgerys, and had a heart monitor put in. It just seems to me that god isnt doing all that he can. But i guess what im really tryin to ask, is like do you really have to go to church to be a follower of god? I think that if you do good in your life, are good to others, and just live your life to its fullest, then god will be happy.

Many people have come forward with no faith in religion, and some full of hatred and said that God is fake, Christianity is superstitious, etc. etc. So what is your argument? Prove to me God is not real, and Jesus didn't exist.

It seems like all religious denominations contridict one another on who actually goes to heaven. Does this mean we all go to hell? If not, what is the correct way to get into heaven and why?

I have seen alot of questions and answers in this section that are rather forceful, cruel, and disrespectful coming from both athiests and christians.Isn't it easier to win someone to your side of the debate by being kind, respectful, and at least half-way intellegent in your Q&A?I mean,it makes me not want to take anything an athiest says seriously sometimeswhen just about all I hear them say is hateful cruel things about the religious .And alot of athiests cant take the religious seriously because of the massive amount of "ZOMG u r ttly going to hell you ungrateful ppls liek duhz."
I know there are nice considerate people out there,I 've seen alot of nice people in this section that actually *gasp* like to help each other and debate in a peaceful matter. But what does the bitterness do to help you to accomplish?(I'll have to admit I can be very mean at times, but its usually after my buttons have been pushed.)Do you wish to "convert" people by being hateful?

Solomon was a prolific writer. He composed 3,000 proverbs and 1,005 songs. He wrote the Song of Songs, the Book of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes.)

Solomon's wisdom is proverbial. The following famous story illustrates his wisdom as a judge. Two women came to his court, each claiming that she was the mother of the same baby. Solomon threatened to split the baby in half. One woman was prepared to accept the decision, but the other begged the King to give the live baby to the other woman. Solomon then knew the second woman was the mother.
