If you observe their actions rather than their rhetoric it is obvious that very few Christians even know what is in the book on which their faith is nominally based. The decide what they want to be true and misrepresent the Bible as supporting it under the guise of "interpretation". Christian behavior makes prefect sense if you consider it from the position that most Christians consider themselves to be God. By that logic whatever they say is the Word of God, since they said it, whatever they do is the Will of God, since they did it, and any disagreement with them is a rejection of God Almighty, since that is who they are. They will deny this, of course, but their actions do not make sense under any other theological position. Judging others, condemning others, demanding unquestioning acceptance of whatever they claim to be in the Bible, whether it's there or not, and threats of eternal damnation are the only tools they, as God, have to enforce their authority. I learned years ago not to waste time on them, it's all I can recommend to you, as well, remember what Jesus said in the Sermon of the Mount: "Do not do as the Hypocrites do, verily, I say to you they have their reward." Remember that in his own day, Jesus was the one condemned and persecuted by the established religions, the same as his followers now do to Pagans.

First, God, not man, judges. You will find this in the Christian bible.
Second. In the Gospel of John, you will find how Jesus dealt with nonbelievers. Just look at this gospel and focus on the word believer and nonbeliever.
What you believe or not believe is not the issue. Christians believe in the bible as God's word spoken through the prophets. Jesus asked his disciples to spread the message; he did not ask his disciples to change beliefs. (Again see the Gospel of John)
Just so, we are clear, heaven is where God is and hell is where God is not. Earth is where man is. The goal is to get to God. God is spirit, and we worship God in spirit and in truth.
Normally I would give you concise version of the Christian message, but from the tone of your question, you have already heard it and rejected it. As I Christian, I just move on.
Bring what into the work place? Jesus asked Christians to present the Christian message to every nation, not to convert every person. The bible is not a manual for conversion, but a tool for the believer. So what exactly are the Christians doing in the work place? Work I hope.
Personally, I have a bible in my office for my personal use. I do not wear clergy attire; Roman collars are not in the company dress code. If you feel that your fellow employees are out of line, talk to your HR department.
I have tried to keep this focus on your question. In sum, God, not man, judges; the work place is for work; and when you think someone has violated your beliefs by his/her actions, talk to your HR department.
All that is from the Christian bible, and I assure you I do not ignore it.

Buddhists get the same treatment. I study the Christian bible, and watch documentaries on biblical subjects. Why? Because I want to know about all philosophy. Also because when a bible thumper comes at me with some kind of nonsense, I love to inform them that I know more about their ‘rule book’ than they do.
Funny fact: I saw a car with a bunch of bumper stickers that contained Christian propaganda. The really funny thing about it was the model of the car. It was a Toyota Avalon. I wonder if they know what that ‘Avalon’ is a pagan religion. The car was probably designed in Japan, by Buddhists. If they knew, they would probably not own that model.

I guess you think we're all hypocrites, but not so!!
ask yourself: if you don't believe that your bills exist, do you still have to pay them?Same thing. Just because you think there is no lake of fire doesn't mean you won't have to go there if you don't straighten up.
If you don't have Christian beliefs, then why do you care what God's holy word says??!!!
As a fact, it is a right (that belongs to all people) that we can judge other people's "fruit"
oh yeah, as for bringing it into the workplace:
FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

I'm sorry you met a pushy-at-best Christian...Please don't judge us all based on that person. While I believe it's true that without accepting Jesus you will end up in hell, and that evangelism is our duty, there is a better way. I think more people are likely to listen to me if I live as an example of what I believe in, as opposed to telling everyone and their brother about it. I think that speaking to you like that, assuming you weren't having a religious conversation, is totally uncalled for. Everywhere--but especially in the workplace.

You are absolutely right. It hardly helps the Christian cause. I must say that those who would condem are just more vocal. They are giving Christians a bad rep but they are not all of the Christians. I am one and I won't touch the subject of where you are going, it's not up to me. which is really good because (as I said in an other post an hour ago) I've been wrong about things before.

That is a good question. But you must remember that Christians are the majority in most countries and as such they feel it is okay to dictate what is right and wrong. Unfortunately, they seldom take the time to learn of other faiths (like us pagans) before judging us.

Sounds like you are being harrassed in the work place and that's illegal, bring it up to your supervisor. This needs to stop immediately or you will have a case for a hostile work environment.
I was raised catholic and it never ceases to amaze me how christians feel the need to convert the entire world. Another person on here likened religion to drugs and I think he's got something there.

Christians are just people too. We aren't perfect, we just have a high mark to be judged against. You on the other hand have an apparent low mark and as such find it easier to measure up to lower standards. From your point of measuring up to your own expectations it is easy to complain of those who don't measure up to different standards. As I said, Christians are just people too, with the same problems as everyone else. Nobody is perfect.

I wont bring it into the workplace just into Yahoo answers. If you dont believe in Christ and accept His sacrifice for your sins and confess He rose on the third day then you will go to hell wether you believe it or not. (a run-on sentence is biblical, just check the first chapter of Romans)
