I am truly happy with my religion. It gives me the structure that I want to worship my deities. It gives me guidelines to live by and connects me to others who hold beliefs similar to mine. It helps me to understand the world around me and my place in it. It works for me!

I really don't wonder why I practice my religion. All of my rites have meanings for me that are clear. Most of them are to establish closer relationships with my deities. That's very important to me. I don't have any meaningless rituals and the things that I do are for a better connection to my deities now rather than for some future result. I hope that made sense.

Yep. It does not bother me at all. Why should it? It has no dogma and does not expect me to follow anything particular.

For thousands of years India has been a veritable laboratory of religion: everything imaginable has been tried out, and nothing ever has completely been rejected. Its ethos has evolved down the ages through its the ancient Hindu traditions, customs, philosophy and culture.

Hinduism gives freedom to accept, question, reject any thing partially or completely , believe it or reject it.

It does not believe in concepts of proselytization, heresy hunting, Holy wars, proclamation of chosen people or a jealous God. Hinduism is an inclusive faith which provides for every form of religious experience and belief; there can by no heresy or Kufr in Hinduism.
Freedom to choose between innumerable theories about God or criticize them.

Freedom to follow my own spiritual path and yet remain Hindu.

Freedom to turn atheist and yet it does not threaten me with eternal barbeque.

For Hinduism is itself secular by nature. Even many Hindu do not realise the freedom they have got in comparison to organised religions. They havent seen that culture and take this freedom for granted.

Answered this earlier tonight...yes, I'm happy to be Pagan. I celebrated a holiday last night (Lammas, celebration of the harvest) and had a friend from my former coven over for dinner tonight. I like that I don't have to believe things literally, but I can embrace the beauty and mystery in life.

YES .. I AM ..
AS A MUSLIM .. I KNOW THAT THERE IS A CONSTANT BOOK "QURAN" WHICH WILL NEVER CAN BE CHANGED ..
TRY ASKING A NON-BELIEVER A QUESTION ..
HE WILL ANSWER IN SOME WAY ..
THEN ASK HIM ANOTHER .. HE WILL ANSWER IN ANOTHER WAY .. BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT ANY CONSTANT AND TRUSTABLE BOOK .
EVOLUTION IS ALSO LIKE THAT .. IF YOU ASK THEM A QUESTION THEY WILL SAY EVOLUTION NEEDS A LONG TIME TO DO THAT .. OR IT DOES NOT INVOLVE WITH SUCH QUESTIONS ..
THEY ARE SAYING THAT EVOLUTION INVOLVE WITH LIVING-BEINGS ONLY .. OK .. WHAT ABOUT MOUNTAINS .. ELECTRONS ..GALAXIES .. LANGUAGES .. ETC ..
YOU CAN NOT FIND ANSWERS FOR EVERY THING IN RELIGION .. BUT WHAT YOU CAN FIND IN RELIGIONS NEVER CAN FIND IT IN EVOLUTION OR ANY BOOK ..
THAT IS WHY RELIGIOS BOOKS LIKE QURAN ARE VERY IMPORTANT ..
AFTER DEATH CASE .. IS THERE ANY REFERENCES INSTEAD OF RELIGIOUS BOOKS FOR IT .. OFF COURSE NO ..
WHY I AM HERE .. CAN SOMEONE ANSWER ME WITHOUT RELIGIOUS BOOKS .. OFF COURSE NO ..

Yeah, I'm an agnostic and I'm completely happy with that. I don't have to live by some stupid rules and made to feel guilty if I don't go along with everyone else.
