When looking at the life of Jesus (whose life is not only described in the New Testament but also in secular writings of the time), you have to ask yourself one question.
Who did Jesus say He was? How did He describe Himself?
Jesus called Himself God.
To make a statement like that, you have to be (in the words of CS Lewis) either a liar, a lunatic, or Lord.
Jesus was not a liar. His flawless moral code and preaching on virtue and against sin precluded Him from being a liar. To know the character of the man would know that He wasn't capable of lying. How can he at one time say "Love your neighbor" and "Love your enemies" and "Don't lie" then lie about being God?
Was he a lunatic? The New Testament has Him as a rational man. The secular writing of the day doesn't point to Him being a lunatic. Answer me this: Would the aposltes have followed Him to their death, horribly so, if He was a lunatic? And wouldn't the Sanhedrin of the time just have gotten His dead body to parade in front of them in order to prove that He was a lunatic? Would YOU have followed a lunatic to your death in the most horrible fashion possible? I didn't think so.
So if he's not a liar, and not a lunatic, that leaves only ONE solution.
Jesus is Lord.
I would suggest checking out the man's character. Read the Bible for yourself. Don't listen to any old whack-job preacher who might just want your money.
Get to know the real Jesus. Then find other people who have found the real Jesus.
You'll start to see it for yourself when you do that ..
God bless!

Why do Christians insist on proof there is no God?
Your posture is that God exists. The district attorney's posture is that the I committeded the crime. In both cases there is no burden of proof on me. You are asking me to prove a negative. Can you prove, ABSOLUTELY that you didn't committ the last murder in your town. Now I am going to discount any third person testimony because you could have purchased it, and I can find an excuse to discount any other evidence you might have fabricated to present to a jury.
No I can't prove there is no God. I can site example after example that would convince any rational jury but Christians are not rational. I have first hand experience with that little item. My wife is "born again" whatever that means and she doesn't bother to do the right thing on many occasions. I think she considers herself preforgiven. The bunch she hangs around with have cost me, literally, over $10,000 not to mention a good name where I worked and a building I can't use as intended because of poor Christian craftsmanship.
So until you have more evidence than a book, I have about 200 that say James Kirk and the Star Ship Enterprise is out there, please just go practice your faith in any way you see fit but stay out of my business dealings. BTW, please install that fish on the back of your car. It makes a very obvious warning label. I would never stop for a fish, the driver would end up with my vehicle and I'd have some busted wreck along side the road.

Its not that we can prove that all of christianity is bullshit, but the fact that no one has ever proved it to be true. The faith of millions and a single founding book published by corrupt kings thousands of years ago is not truly "evidence" of anything. I think that a lot of christians give the religion a bad name through downright stupidity and corruption. Telling me the entire planet and all its creatures were created in seven days, when there wasn't even a callender at that time, or the time that the bible printed that statement had a totally different calender system than ours, is complete ignorance, not faith. Did god create fossils and other "actual" evidence to test our faith? Come on! Also any educated person knows how money hungry and evil the main churches are. Through time it has been proven and unveiled that a lot of information about christian history was left out by the higher ups. They let us read and hear what they thought was the most beneficial to them, much like our government does today.
I'l leave it at that...

It's far worse than a superstition, it's down right dangerous. It is also a mythological cult, with absolutely no verifiable evidence whatsoever thant anything in the Bible comes remotely close to the truth.
My studies and research shows that religious people are not exactly rocket scientists, they tend to be below average intelligence, and also have a tendency to be more violent than non-believers. In some cases, the more violent the person, the more religious they are. I suspect that the vast majority of religious people are well below average intelligence.
I wonder if trying to improve the intellectual standard of our global community, would help remove the various religions from our culture, and thereby improve happiness and peace for humanity.
It’s a statistical fact that the higher your education, income, and intelligence, the more likely you are not to believe in a god. For every college student that converts to a religious belief system, 17 college students convert to atheist beliefs.
Atheists have an average intelligence of 25 IQ points above their Christian counterparts. Ever wondered why the USA (75% Christian) is so arrogant, aggressive or violent towards others in this world?

There have been many religions over human existence, and many of those no longer exist. If they just up and stopped existing, and if other religions aren't thought to be true, and this has been going on for some time...then why would that one suddenly be true... Only reason big religions are not called cults is because they have become so widespread. If they were still small, they'd be considered cults. The bible and other "holy books" of other religions were written in times when women were treated as less, and it shows. That is men's mindset in them. Logical thinking also easily disproves lots of bible stories to non believers...

Most scholars believe that Jesus existed. So proving that Jesus existed does not prove he was God or the divine Son of God or anything like that. Just thought I'd point that out. ;-)

Despite all logic and proof against the existence of god, religious believers show an amazing capacity to ignore the facts that disprove their delusions. Any sort of religious experience is caused by the release of serotonin and dopamine in the brain

I cant prove that G-d dose not exist or that Jesus did not live but I can prove that Christianity is not Biblical and if Jesus was alive today he would want no part of it.
