OK, it's not really a question, but I just want all of you who go around knocking on doors to know that although I'm a Christian, and don't agree 100% with your beliefs, I really admire what you do. I think it really takes a lot of love and devotion to put that much time and energy into bringing as many people to God/Jehovah as you can and I really respect you for that.

First, those who manage well the circumstances which they encounter day by day;and those who can judge situations appropriately as they arise and rarely miss the suitable course of action.
Next, those who are honorable in their dealings with all men, bearing easily what is unpleasant or offensive in others and being as reasonable with their associates as is humanly possible.
Furthermore, those who hold their pleasures always under control and are not unduly overcome by their misfortunes, bearing up under them bravely and in a manner worthy of our common nature.
Most important of all, those who are not spoiled by their successes,
who do not desert their true selves, but hold their ground steadfastly as wise and sober-minded men, rejoicing no more in the good things that have come to them through chance than in those which through their own nature and intelligence are theirs since birth.
Those with all these are educated-possessed of all the virtues.

If you believe in reincarnation as a part of your relgion does your relgion accept scientologists as a part of it? I am not one, but want to know. I understand scientologists used to say that someone could be christian and with scientology, but that has changed because they realize that is not ture because christians do not believe in reincarnation where scientotogists do.

What relgigions combine with scientology that you know of?

Religion is a set of rules created by men with respect to God to have order in their newly established society when they settled down(when they stopped being normadics). Religion was not created by God, it was created by men.

I've seen Catholics who profess love and forgiveness but they've kicked their pregnant daughters out of their house to the street.
I've seen slum landlords that are Catholics , and these same slum landlords withhold heat and hot water and services and then get all dressed up for Sunday Mass.

There have been Catholic parents who profess love and forgiveness and they profess to love God,and love thy neighbor but they hate gays and lesbians because they choose to live differently than Catholics live.

There are Catholics who go to SUNDAY Mass dressed in their best and then they gossip all week long about their neighbors.

I've seen a Catholic nun kick schoolbags down the aisle of a school (where's the love in that?).

There were Catholic teachers who talked all week about loving your 'neighbor" but wouldn't speak with their own neighbors.
I've seen Catholic nuns lock children in dark cellars for punishment (where's the love in that)? Why are SOME catholics such hypocrits?

I know not all Atheists are jerks but Id like to know how many here think this is funny. Someone here emailed me calling me a "queer" because of my picture I explained the picture and asked them to visit my 360 page... upon seeing I have cancer, the IM me with this:
ric_zenbach: you getting a girl friend is an "impossble dream". The cancer got to your brain if you can't spell. Plus, you lie, guys don't bald until they are old... your body and mind suck really bad. Be like me. You can be my apostle... or my ***** if you didn't have cancer. If I wore a condom could I still catch it? LOL

I hope it's not the majority of the non-christians that think this comment is funny?

My bf can't find an antique master mason ring that his aunt gave him and I have searched everywhere for it. Do you think he just put it somewhere and forgot where or do you think one of the kids might have snatched it? Are there any psychics out there have any ideas? ;-))

I am a Christian who loves God and is so thankful that he sent Jesus down to die for my sins. I have never been one to push my views down anyone's throat, but having just read several responses to Christian questions, I have to wonder why all of these people who call themselves pagans, atheists, and wiccans sound so angry, bitter, and negative? I would never bash anyone because of their beliefs, not that I agree with them, but why the deep hatred towards Christians? And for the atheists...aren't you just a teeny bit worried about what will happen when you die if you're wrong and the is a God?

I just saw someone's question that when she remembers god even in a casual way, does it count as prayer. It just struck me that when we say a prayer, it is almost like begging him for his blessings or something which we desire (be it peace, wealth, health, etc). Does God really need begging to grant us favours? Why do we have to beg to get something?

I understand that it should come from the heart, but this is something new to me that I feel I want to do, and I am looking for some advice or the right words that might express how I feel until I get comfortable enough that it will just flow out of me.

Please no pranksters just for the 2 points. We've all heard "Rub a dub dub, thanks for the grub" and "Good veggies, good meat....Good God let's eat"

I have a genius mind and presently am reading Michners "Space" about the brilliant minds that came together to bring the US into orbit. It is while reading entense subject matter that one finds contemplative reasoning makes for investigative calculation; and so I have derived 2 things 1) That theres is No God or 2)That he is not a loving god-but the first will be relevant to appease the second. Your God is The Creator of ALL Things YOU say-he has given you a choice and with that choice you are going to be judged for eternity in Either Heaven or Hell-What is Eternity? It is a period of time-Time infinite-and according to the principles in time infinity goes as far forward as it does in reverse-IF GOD ENDED THE WORLD TODAY-Time would not be important any longer because GOD being God would not be constrained by TIME-WOULD HE? And so a Loving God could turn back the clock and redirect your path and show you how to be righteous. Not Even Your God Can Do That-He Too IS CONSTRAINED By Time!
