Because God, and the Truth are the essence of everything that is really real, and really true, and therefore the essence of real and true happiness and satisfaction.
Everything else comes and goes, but God and Truth are forever.

What one day would give me ultimate satisfaction is if I can help people, keep people around me happy and teach and research and help animals and find a connection with god.

hmmm what kinda satisfaction...i get satisfied when i see my families happy face in th eafternoon and when i see my cat sleeping so nicely near the sofa ...no one had disturbed him....
