As a muslim, i believe that Jesus was a prophet. I refused to watch the movie as i don't think it was intended to "educate" anyone and was purely made for financial gain - which i find revolting.
Yes, i know that a LOT of research was done and have heard that the movie was made fairly.
But i will never watch it because:
a) I refuse financially support a movie that uses religion to make money
b) I don't want to see graphic violence of how Jesus was persecuted. All prophets were horribly persecuted and I think I'm better off NOT seeing a movie picture of it.
c) A lot of people WILL see the movie as being anti-Jewish and this promotes a lot of hatred among people of different religions. I've been told that the Jews were not being portrayed as evil in the movie (it was Satan who was working through them).

. the movie was beautifully created. they even use a hebrew word for the langauge to be look more real. special effects are good and also the sound theme. . the Islamic religion also believe Jesus Christ as one of the greatest prophet of God. They just dont beleive that Jesus Christ was crucified. The Quran just tells that He ascended to heaven. For the moslem, the passion of Christ is another good hollywood fiction movie.

I heard of it. I have a plan to watch it. I would either borrow a dvd of the movie or rent it.
To Don: You are consistently saying that you are not allowed to answer such question, actually you are answering. Because you are clicking on "Answer this Question" to type in some words. So I'd request you not to make such dumb chaos here by answering something like that. And the asker clearly addressed Muslims. Why would you nose in here??

Movie based on a play. It was ok. Also, saw Passion of the Jew...some late night cartoon movie where mel gibson rubs his poo all over!
Entertainment, but that's all. Dont think it was meant to cause such a religious stir...just a outlet for mel gibson's directorial?

I saw it, and it changed my view of Gibson. I don't watch his movies anymore. I used to like him, but now not so much. Then the Jew thing came about, but my view on him still hasn't changed. Just because he is anti Jew does not mean he is pro Muslim. It just means he is a very racist intolerant person.

Yes, I think it is true that Jews are terrorists from their first day. And we should highly appreciate the sacrifice ALL Prophets made in order to spread the true message of submission to God.
