If you believe in reincarnation as a part of your relgion does your relgion accept scientologists as a part of it? I am not one, but want to know. I understand scientologists used to say that someone could be christian and with scientology, but that has changed because they realize that is not ture because christians do not believe in reincarnation where scientotogists do.
What relgigions combine with scientology that you know of?

No scientology is not a Christian relgion I know. I was just wondering if a religion which believed in reincarnation allowed their members to be scientologists or if scientolgy conflicted with other beliefs of that religion like hinduism for instance.

Yes I understand scientology is a modern "religion" /philospohy or belief system, but what I am asking is if someone can be both. Is someone expected to leave other beliefs behind? I would expect so. I understand from some reading that they have discouraged meditation in some individual cases. I do not know if this is a standard Scientology view, but if it is I would imagine it would conflict with budism from what little I know, bescause from what I know mediation seems to be very important to buddists. Anyone correct me if this is wrong. This is just a basic observation of mine from very limited information I have been exposed to.

You have to get really high up into scientology to know about the beliefs on it or you can google the 1st south park episode on it and it will explain it in basic details to you. You will find it shocking what the beliefs are. It involves souls of aliens inhabiting our bodies and making us unhappy.

Scientology at its highest teachings, teach that religion is an implant to trick us, and so ultimately isn't compatible with any any religion.
Here is the court released documents confirmed by Scientology itself that this is true:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/fishman/index2.html
Here it is in hubbard's own voice, "There is no christ"
http://www.lermanet2.com/cos/nochrist.wav
Scientologists can in theory practise and attend other religions, but in practise this is greatly frowned upon, and later demanded, and I think all scientologists become only scientologists.
Here is one social scientists report on scientology and is it a religion:
http://www.factnet.org/Scientology/is_religion.htm
See more articles about scientology and religion here:
http://www.factnet.org/Scientology/scirelg.htm
Hubbard stole the idea of scientology from many different sources; he used past lives to find more engrams and problems to resolve is a product of this, and so make more money and keep people in scientology longer.

As far as I know, Scientologists still say that you can be a Christian and a Scientologist. Scientology teaches that we each have a thrust toward the infinite but has no specific dogma as to what that is. Because of this, Scientologists come from all faiths including Christians. It's really awesome to see people from so many different walks of life and belief systems all working to improve their lives through the use of Scientology's technology.
But now to directly answer your question. While most Christians don't believe in reincarnation there is evidence that reincarnation was a widely accepted belief among Christians up to around 500AD. Here's a website discussing the belief in reincarnation among early Christians:
http://www.mysticcottage.org/tradition/reincarnation.html
Judaism has a more widespread belief in reincarnation. Chabad, an Orthodox Jewish movement that runs thousands of synagogues worldwide clearly espouses a belief in reincarnation on its website:

Reincarnation is a central tenet within the majority of Indian religious traditions such as Yoga, Vaishnavism, Jainism and Sikhism. Buddhist concept of Rebirth, a major part of Buddhist philosophy, differs from the Vedic based traditions, teaches that our "self" (soul) does not reincarnate (see below). Many modern Pagans also believe in reincarnation as do some new Age movements, along with followers of Spiritism, practitioners of certain African traditions, and students of esoteric philosophies

And now, here's an interesting story about Tibetan Buddhist monks studying Scientology:

To answer the additional details question: Scientology will not discourage you from practicing any other religion. That is totally up to you. If you want to be a Buddhist thats fine. If you want to be a Christian thats fine too, at least as far as the Church of Scientology's concerned. In Scientology you really have the freedom to be whatever religion you like. That is the official policy of the Church of Scientology. "Scientology makes it possible for any religion to attain its goals and is therefore a religion of religions."

The science of reincarnation is primarily Vedic, with the acceptance of an eternal soul or self that is part of the Supreme soul or God, eternal means at no time did the soul not exist and at no time in the future shall the soul cease to exist.
Christianity removed reincarnation from its doctrine in 553 A D under the directive of the emperor Justinian at the fifth council of Constantinople, where it was declared heresy to teach about the pre-existence of souls.
Scientology does accept the pre existence of souls and previous lives, which contradicts the official doctrine of the Christian churches, so the doctrines of both are not compatible.
I dont know of any religious or spiritual body that combines with Scientology.

All Indic (i.e. of India) religions believe in reincarnation; these include Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism etc. Some of the religions do not even believe in a supreme God; but they still believe in reincarnation; and state that unless they are pure they will not get salvation (or nirvana if you are interested in the Indic term) and their soul wil be born again and again to bear the grieves from the deeds of their previous birth. Christianity could have got the idea of reincarnation from Indians (we know that in Roman empire there were several people who practiced Mithirism - worship of a deity Mitra who was part of Indo-Iranian pantheon). The concept of after life has come from the Egyptians though.
Reincarnation is part of my religious beliefs; Scientologists may be offended if they are called Hindus (that I am).
Scientology has borrowed ideas from many religions; but mainly from Christianity.

Eastern religions and most pagan religions (including Wicca) support reincarnation. As far as combining with Scientology that I cannot say for I know little of that belief. What I do know of it seems a little incompatible with most other beliefs due to (and this is my understanding mind you) the fact that Scientology is based on the belief that the followers are not of this planet but were the saved ones from another planet and now trapped on Earth.

Hinduism is the original religion with reincarnation. Its offshoots, e.g. Buddhism, Jainism, Carvaka, etc. also teach reincarnation. Pythagoras believed in it too. He said he had been Euphorbus in the Trojan War. Then, there is Bridey Murphy.

Buddhism, Wicca and other Neo-Pagan religions, and Hinduism I think. Scientologists ARE Christian by the way, that's why they have a cross for a symbol.

scientologists are NOT, I repeat NOT Christian! don't let anyone fool you> they don't acknowledge Jesus as lord and savior therefore they aren't Christian! The Bible warned that in the last days many people would turn to "doctrines of devils" and religions that would "tickle their ears" in other words, religions that are appealing, but full of lies!
as for reincarnation: eastern religions and paganism>
