Ask me anything you would like. My email is daysleepernightcreeper@yahoo.com. I am a muslim woman and proud to be one. I converted to Islam from Christianity. Ask away, but only if you are sincere.

I would ask "Why don't muslim woman say hi to me when I pass them on the sidewalk". Even when they are in a couple of them, they don't. They could at least nod. So, my question is"How can muslim woman acknowledge and say hi to their neighbours?" This is a very important question and how can their husband realize that a simple hello or nod is basic social human needs. I hope this will not take another generation, because that would be a shame.

I would also ask what muslims eat that makes them a little bit overweight than average(both men and woman). (at least here in Canada) Perhaps its because the muslim woman have lots of kids. (I'm not trying to be mean, but it's just something I noticed) Is there a lot of oil in your food? Or is life centered around the kitchen?

Even a muslim is a human. I do not believe that persuing any religion changes a person at all as all the religions have same preachings.

On the lighter side, I do not talk to strangers, be the person a Muslim, a Chirstian, a Hindu, a Buddhist or a follower of any other religion.

Well if I met a man who is Muslim (I had friend who was a girl about Muslims) how he feels about women and why? I get such different hearsay accounts on Muslim men towards women. I would live to go straight to the source.

If martyrs are entitled to 7 virgins in heaven, won't heaven eventually run out of virgins? And what about women who are martyrs?

But seriously, I'd probably ask the if they've read Rumi and how his ideas and poetry compare with Muslim doctrine and the Koran.

If I can join them in a mosque, or for Ramadan, or on a Hajj, just to find out what its like. I've noticed that mosques can be quite beautiful and many other Buddhist women like me probably haven't had the fortune of trying any of these things.

How do they feel about the warped point of view (i.e., Muslims are terrorists) that currently pervades so much of Judeao-Christian society. Does this misunderstanding influence the way they interact with non-Muslims?

I'd say, "Salam. How are you today?"

The place I work has people of different religions, Christians, Muslims & Hindus. We all say hello to eachother whenever we meet & we enjoy working together.
