So don't get all upset, I'm just asking a simple question (no need to be defensive here.. we're all brothers and sisters trying to make sense of this universe though whatever means)

In numerous surveys it has been shown that religious beliefs diminish as education levels rise. The percentage of "believers" among high school drop-outs is very high.. gradually decreasing all the way up to graduate school degree holders who, as a group, are very irreligious (yeah probably athiests)

This Q is targeted towards american christians, but feel free to answer away...

I just realized that there is a connection. They are all related where does the Muslim relgion differ from christianity? At what point does it diverge and at what point is it the same? Perhaps I am confused, but I think there are some books or people in common to all 3?

Please no bashing on me this is just an information question to broaden my world view. I am just trying to be educated.

Any links would be appreciated for comparrison or contrast. I am not in school just a student of live trying to understand the world.

I was raised Catholic and so was my husband but recently we have had a change of heart. We tried several different churches and our girls love the "Friends Church, Evangelist" and they go all the time. They are teens and enjoy having a choice in religion. But we just can't get into it. The who situation seems so confusing that we just have not gone to church. In the meantime part of me does not want to have a relationship with Christ and I don't know why and part of me does. We have three girls and I am pregnant with another child. I want to bring this child up in a Christian home, but I am having a hard time. All of the reasons that I want a relationship with Christ seem selfish. I want a piece of heaven, I want to see my father again and I don't want to go to hell. How to I change my perspective and build a relationship with Christ for all the right reasons?

Has anyone "experienced " inorganic beings (the sort Carlos Castaneda discusses) in their dreams, or in that semi-conscious state when drifting off to sleep? Call me crazy, I don't care, but I think I've been being harassed by one for at least 10 years now. The encounters have been very infrequent (probably 5 times at most), but terribly frightening.
So I'm simply curious as to whether or not anybody else knows what I'm talking about. BTW, this is a 'watery' one.

I was raised in a christian household.But I was just wondering...Here's my reasoning:
1.God said were are nothin but dirt, and sinners who can never be as perfect as he is. But at the same time he wants us to worship him. If were are just mere humans, why does he want us to praise him.
2.Death isn't such a big deal to him, but to us losing some1 we love is devasting.But he values praising him more than death.
4.If he is all knowing, why didn't he do anything to stop Adam&Eve. (PLZ DONT SAY FREEWILL, cuz ultimaly it's not freewill)He knew it was gonna happen, so does that mean he ultimatly wanted us to feel pain, so he can again get PRAISES?
5.Think about this:
Step 1:Humans sin
Step 2: He punishes us.
Step 3: But no, wait God sends his son to die so God wouldn't have to punish us.(hunh? Honestly does that make sense)

Plz offer clarification, I wanna understand and live a Christian life, but my recent trubles have left me with many questions? IS IT ALL ABOUT PRAISES?

2,000 years ago if i saw a piece of bread i would call it bread.
2,000 years ago if i saw a celle phone i would call it god!
So what makes us think when a person saw an angel that it was mystical and super naturel, maybe is was something more dare a speak of it or i will be called nuts.
