Has anyone "experienced " inorganic beings (the sort Carlos Castaneda discusses) in their dreams, or in that semi-conscious state when drifting off to sleep? Call me crazy, I don't care, but I think I've been being harassed by one for at least 10 years now. The encounters have been very infrequent (probably 5 times at most), but terribly frightening.
So I'm simply curious as to whether or not anybody else knows what I'm talking about. BTW, this is a 'watery' one.

Hey Marie, Wow I can't recall myself dreaming of any inorganic beings. But I'm sure I have and not noticed it. I often dream about the same places, even though I have never been there before and each time it has the same vibe. What is it trying to teach or show you? Do you live near water? If know where you picked it up from, go to that place sober and awake and ask for a dream of which you want to know. Good luck.

Carlos Castenada was largely interested in shamanic cultures, but was incredibly misogynistic in his views. In shamanic practise, there are infinite 'realities' which we are able to visit in a dream-like state. Theoretically, it's possible that you've met with the same 'spirit' on several occasions. Having said that, there are other possibilities to consider... for instance, could this being be an aspect of yourself? Maybe an aspect you refuse to acknowledge or need to change? I'd need to know more to comment properly, but the most important piece of advice I can give you is to practise grounding and shielding yourself before going to sleep. Imagine roots coming from your feet and body, spreading deep, deep into the earth. There are some quite convoluted shielding techniques, but a basic one is to imagine yourself surrounded by purple - maybe you could visualise putting on a purple suit before going to sleep? If it continues and you're desperate to get to the root of the situation, you could seek out an experienced shamanic healer - but be warned; this is a field beset by charlatans and wannabes.

Good luck!

woaw, strange question. I have never heard of Carlos Castaneda but interestingly some of my friends told me she is being harresed by a thing which looks like jelly and is yellow. i hope what you see is different since she had 3 years of medical treatment and surprisingly, could get rid off it with the help of some religious rituals. interesting huh?

Sometimes we get visiters in our room at night. Bed shaking, strange buzzing sensations, feelings of something brushing against my legs, and lights flickering. I don't know what it is or if it's the same thing.
Another time I was tossing and turning and looked up and saw a fluorescent green glob hovering above the the bed. I reached and shook the blinds and it disappeared. Don't know what that was either.

Yes, when I was younger. And when I became a Christian in my 20's it got worse. I think mine was a spirit that I inherited from my family, and it got mad that I was becoming more spiritual. It would show up and stand next to my bed at night or float above me in the bed .
I would pray and pray and it would not go away.
Finally, I realized that it could never hurt me - just frighten me.
So one night it appeared, and I just rolled over and went back to sleep. Once I ignored it and was no longer frightened, it never came back. And it hasn't happened in over 20 years.

My advice to you is that you have to realize this being can't physically touch you. So there is no reason to be afraid of it.
Try to ignore it, realize it has no power over you.
