For far too long we have been inundated with religious preachers knocking on doors, screaming on street corners, babbling in church, and worst of all, using TV to ram their beliefs down our throats and those of our children. Prophets or profits? I think the answer is obvious. Hands raised upwards, then into the pockets, let’s give money money money.

A little old lady comes on stage, push her forehead, she falls over and low and behold, she’s cured of her mental and physical woes. Hands raised again, yep you’re on to it, let’s give more money money money. Check out the preachers shiny white teeth as they count their gold.

Here’s the truth. Sam has a lunatic in his head, crippled legs, done his bit for the country, but Sam manges to come on stage smiling, gets pushed over, falls flat on his a.s.s and he’s still got a lunatic in his head, and he’s still a cripple. Guess what, no money money money. That’s the real truth.

When trying to refute evolution, many creationists cite that there is "no evidence in the fossil record," when there is indeed. There are literally dozens of "inbetween" organisms! The most famous example being archaeopteryx, an inbetween step from lizard to bird, of which there are complete fossils with feathers and skin impressions.

In April 6th Nature magazine reported a new sarcopterygian fish skeleton, a step from fish to amphibian/quadraped.

Then there is always the ever-cited evidence of moths in Britain during the Industrial Revolution evolving into a black color to match the soot deposits on everything.

I guess my question is... How do creationists/ID believers simply ignore this evidence, and continue citing that there is no fossil evidence?

I thought the religious craziness ended with the Inquisition. A thousand years later, blind obedience is still alive and well!

I NEVER hear black christians express a desire to return to the "good old days" of the 50s America. I know why! I remember those days clearly.

By most of us thinking we are victims, and needing some kind of hand out, It seems we are spiritually lower evolved. Does victimization carry over after death. Would I have an empty palette to create upon but seem like hell to me because I believed I coudln't change it? What do you think of my name? Uncle Tom, anyone?

He married his half-sister, then lied to & married her off to first, a pharoah, then a king, murdered thousands in the name of God, next got his half-sister/wife's handmaid pregnant (with the wife's permission), then kicked the handmaiden and her son out into the desert (at the sister/wife's command), tried to kill his son (he heard God tell him to)...If you're Xtian & you don't know...You were blessed with an education that taught you to read, do it!

Today I passed a Mormon church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ) in my car, and I saw many Mormons outside in the parking lot standing near their cars, and in their sides there were a bunch of bicycles. All of them were white. They looked like identical copies. They looked of American Decent, they were too white and too blonde. They were wearing their typical uniform, white shirt with a tie, black pants etc.

I always seen the typical Mormon for years and years in my country, and I rarely see a Mormon with black hair and a darker complexion. All of them look american, white and blonde. Why?

I know Joseph Smith, Jr was blonde but why follow that pattern?

Sadducees, Pharisees and Roman lawgivers and our modern-day contentious religious leaders, social advocates and politicians who, for only one example, are "all for" medicinal marijuana to help those in chronic pain, but refuse to have a necessary outlet near their boutiques, restaurants and posh used bookstores. Jesus is being killed over and over where there is no love; where there is only accusation (Aramaic: satan).

It took until the 1600's for people to figure out that the earth was not the center of the universe, why do people put so much faith in a book that was written in a time when people had very little understanding of their own bodies never mind how the universe came together?

The primary job in the "middle east" at the time was goat herding. The goat herders started to ask questions like "where does that glowing lump up there go when it gets dark" etc. So in order to appease the goat herders and get them back to work without worrying about such pressing issues, a series of books was written, telling people where they came from, what they shouldn't do and how to live their lives.

Since they were simple goat herders, they believed every word.

Since we're a much smarter planet now, we see the inconsistencies, errors, contradictions, misogyny, abuse, pain, suffering, and just plain absolute nonsense in the bible, why do people still choose believe?

It seems that god is uncahnged. First he genocide every1 by flood.
Than he promissed not to do it again and offer us rainbo.
And i gotta admit he is good at keeping promisses. In revelation he destroys earth and us by fire.
Am i missing something? He gives us rainbo not to flood us but will send fire to destroy everything. Way to go to keep the promiss.
