Adam and Eve had many sons and daughters. Now we don’t marry relatives because of inherited defects but in those days they defects did not have a chance to start yet. Adam and Eve lived hundreds of years and would have had so many children that the older and younger ones would probably not have known one another very well or maybe not at all. Seth was born to Adam when he was 130 years of age and still had more children (Genesis 5: 3-4). If you have hundreds of sisters and brothers how will you get to know them all very well? So it was not similar to marrying a sister that you have a bond with like today. The bible talks about only those persons who had an impact on history and not on everyone.

Most Biblical scholars do not regard Adam and Eve as being real people. They are viewed as representative of the nations of the earth. The story is used to illustrate how evil had corrupted the world that God had created good. However genetic scientific study have traced our ancestors back to one female and one male. This makes one wonder if the original story of Adam and Eve is literal or a metaphor after all. There is not a single person on earth who can give you the correct answer for this question because none of us were there. Incest is only abolished in the Bible in the the book of Exodus (or it could be Deuteronomy, sorry my Bible's in my car outside)

First of all there were people before Adam And Eve. In Gen 1:28 it says to replenish the Earth, you can't replenish something that didn't already exist. In Gen 1:27 God makes man and woman yet Adam isn't created until Gen. 2:7 and Eve in Gen. 2:18-23. Most Christians Say that Gen. 2 is the details of Gen 1, but read it closely and you will see that God first created man and woman at the same time in His image. A little later he created Adam and then later Eve. The human creation in chapter 1 & 2 are different situations, not the same. Now when Cain was thrown out he was afraid that the other people would slay him Gen. 4:12-16 also proving that there were other people. Now I am going to do another big no-no in the church world and step out of the Bible to other scriptures for proof. In the "1 Book of Adam and Eve" 74:6 it tells us that Cain had a twin sister named Luluwa whom he later married, in chap. 75:11 it tells us of the births of Abel and another daughter named Aklia. In "2 Book of Adam and Eve" 2:3 it tells us of Seth and he marries Aklia. So with logic and history there was incest, at least in this family, but how does anyone know that there weren't abnormalities and deformities? Everyone is just assuming that they were normal but maybe not. Now since there were other people maybe Cain and Seths children went outside of their family tree to find their mates thus in time correcting the incest problem. Adam and Eve only had five children, Cain, Luluwa, Abel, Aklia, and Seth. In the book of Jasher 1:12 it say that Eve had two sons and three daughters and later came Seth adding one more daughter than other scriptures mention. If Christians would be willing to read scriptures other than the Bible they would find the answers, but churches have them convinced not to do this. Feel free to check out my anti-church pro God website for other controversial topics.
Hope this helps

I am sure I've answered this before. Oh well, here goes. Adam and Eve did not only have two sons. They had many children, both boys and girls. The bible only mentions the significant characters or it would have to list everyone in existance and would not be able to have been written.
Cain, Able and Seth married their sisters.

You need to read the Bible. Adam and Eve had many children. Genesis 5: 4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

It doesn't matter how many children they had. Let's assume that Eve never committed incest. Then the children must have, because brother sleeping with sister is still incest.
Have you ever noticed how when you ask a legitimate question about the bible, and there is no logical answer how religous people move the goal posts.
The bible is bollocks anyway, see the light and become an Atheist.

Adam and Eve did not only have two sons.
After Abel's death, the Bible tells us, A and E had another son, named Seth.
After that, A and E went on to have other children -- the Bible tells us that too. These other children's names and genders are not given.

If you do some research i.e. read Genesis you will discover many things: Adam and Eve had many children. The story is Genesis is a morality tale, it need not be taken literally, but then none of this matters if one is just out to ask seemingly smartish questions that fall very flat.
