6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

If you guys have the name of that drug or herb let me know i want to try too.
It seems more powerfull than lsd or mushrooms.

BASS: I'm very religious.

FATONE: I'm Catholic.
KING: Joey's Catholic.
TIMBERLAKE: I wouldn't -- I think the term for me would be more spiritual than religious. I think ...
KIRKPATRICK: What [religion] are you, J.C.?
CHASEZ: I'm a Christian -- Mennonite, but...
BASS: Christian. I think God has definitely been a part of our career. I mean that is -- I mean, a huga huge part of our career.

I grow weary of reading the sarcastic, bitter responses to some peoples honest questions. Is there another outlet for answers?

I've been to them all and finally decided that the Church of Scotland is perhaps the best. There seems to be so many controlling people in churches, too much hype/so called miracles/so called gifts but I can't find simple christianity where people genuinely love each other without plastic smiles and are there for each other with a mutual love for Jesus. I can't find people who will talk about God outside of church......what's happening to the church.....has anyone else come across this in the UK ? At least in the church of Scotland people come across as normal and not oddballs.

Hubble's discovery that the universe was expanding led to the emergence of a model that needed no fiddling around with to make the equations work right (Einstein's "cosmological constant" ). If the universe was getting bigger as time advanced, going back in time meant that it was getting smaller; and if one went back far enough, everything would shrink and converge at a single point. The conclusion to be derived from this model was that at some time, all the matter in the universe was compacted in a single point-mass that had "zero volume" because of its immense gravitational force. Our universe came into being as the result of the explosion of this point-mass that had zero volume. This explosion has come to be called the "the Big Bang" and its existence has repeatedly been confirmed by observational evidence.

Is it also a sin if the person getting weighed 370 pounds? Is being obese a sin also, to the point where you can't tell the titties from the extra rolls? Is it a sin for a 90 pound guy to try to take that on for his spiritual and sexual knowledge? Is enlightenment achieved when a guy is able to put on a raincoat and explore a cavern that isn't necessarily a geological formation? Is it spiritual to fist someone?

Why that date?
You see, Ahmadinejad (Iranian leader) is a strong believer in the Shi’ite tradition of a 12th imam, the so-called “hidden” Imam Mahdi who Allah has miraculously kept alive since his disappearance in 874 AD. As the story goes, Imam Mahdi will return at a time of great global chaos, oppression and bloodshed and usher in an era of (Islamic) justice.

Ahmadinejad sees himself as Allah’s instrument to pave the way for Imam Mahdi, and constantly uses public appearances to urge his countrymen to prepare to back him in this task.

Rumor is, Imam Mahdi could be returning this August (or shortly thereafter), Ahmadinejad has made clear his confidence that he and other true believers can affect this apocalyptic timetable, and will use all means at his disposal! Anyone here about this? any more info?

I asked if God could predict the future people said he knows the future after all he is the creator of everything right, he is the creator of time itself. If this is the case why would he create somebody that he knows wont believe in him and then punish them?
You might say he gave us freewill but if he didnt give us any signs or indications of his existance strong enough to make a person believe wouldnt it then be his own fault? And if he created everything does this mean he is nothing? Where did God come from because he could not create himself but still he created everything!

I want to find out more about paganism as it seems to be the most congruent with what my nature tells me is the most righteous path for me. I am not interested in the Wiccan Faddish teeny bopper bullshit. I want to hook up w/ purists. Anyone out there?

From God’s so called Bible - Isaiah 13:15-18

“Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.”

How any decent person can believe and follow the Bible is beyond imagination, or do you just ignore the bits you dislike and twist the rest into a happy delusion, much like the behaviour of drug addicts?

I have seen visiting Christian missionaries taunting Hindus for being polytheistic. Agreed, in Ten Commandments, it says not to worship more than one God; however, is it correct to ridicule people who, generally, do not confront you in any other way? Furthermore, then what is the difference between such missionaries and the terrorists who kill in the name of their religion?

Leviticus 17:11: “For the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you ... It is the blood, given in exchange for a life that makes purification possible.” For centuries after these words were written, scientists were bleeding the sick with leeches.

Job 28: 24, 25: “For he looked to the ends of the earth, and saw under the whole heaven, to make the weight for the winds; and he weighed the waters by measure.” Long after these words were written, scientists maintained that air is weightless. Eventually they caught up to the Bible and realized that air has weight.

Job 38: 19, 20: “Where does light come from, and where does darkness go? Can you take each to its home?” When God asked these questions of Job, he was showing him that light travels. It would take scientists many years to figure that out.

Isaiah 40:22 says, “God sits above the circle of the earth." For centuries after Isaiah, scientists thought it was flat.

Do you consider matter to be imperfect because it changes?

If matter didn't change and adapt we would have no solid, no liquid and no gas. Matter can exist in any time, place, environment and yet you consider it imperfect because it adapts in order to do so.

Perfect matter would support your argument about a perfect god as a perfect god could not create imperfect matter.

Following this anything made of matter would be perfect, meaning life is perfect.

You claim the soul/spirit is not made of matter so if you want to say it is imperfect that wouldn't hurt the argument either.

Please explain for me.

Thank you.

To voice against religious beliefs is understandable. The religious do so every day. However, when the anti-religious speak with desire to eliminate religion, and begin to blame much, (if not all) of society's or the world's problems on religion, are they not becoming a fascist themselves? Is this not an irony?

No it is not. the root of all evil is mankind. Who created money? who created a sense of compromise that is a sentimental vibe? who created the split in society between those who have and those that don't have, which is the main source of every negative action that happens in this world? mankind did. people say greed is the root. well, who has greed? human beings. who puts all the 7 deadly sins into full motion? human beings. you don't see animals doing the things we do don't you? we are the only species on this planet who does good and bad things for all types of reasons, to fullfill all types of pleasure. as long as there are human beings on this earth, there will always be evil. now without human beings, will there still be evil? will there still be money?
