I like it.
Truthfully, one of my friends invited me to a youth group at the church I go to now. It was kinda akward at first, but I grew to like it. Everything just sorta clicked one day when I was at home. My mom asked if I wanted to read her bible and I asked her to put it in my room. I went upstairs, then came back down, realizing that I left my iPod on. As soon as I walked into my room, I saw the bible on my headboard. At that same instance, the 1 christian song out of my 500 songs that I had on my iPod started playing. I know it kinda sounds cheasy, but what are the chances....?

I received an assurance which could only have come from the Holy Spirit that my sins were forgiven and I had become a child of God. This experience is the birth-right of any Christian and amounts to an experience with the living God.
I have met the risen Jesus, I am a witness to the resurrection!
That makes me crazy, a liar or correct - I know what I believe!

Im a Christian because God proved himself real to me.....I was suicidal years ago because of a lot of things happening ...I wont go into those things....and as I sat with gun in hand ready to pull the trigger ...I litterally heard a voice speak to me to "come."....I had this desire to go and pray and ask God to help me...and I proceded to do that and after I did I felt this weight come off me......I always describe it as a weight that felt like 800lbs or so being lifted off my back and shoulders and this incredible joy filled my being and I no longer had a desire to end things but instead I had this desire to live and seek God and I have not looked back.....I minister to people and hopefully extend Gods love to them......life has never been the same since that time.....Jesus is Lord!

It was just the way I was raised. I went left for a while. But, I came back to the church, and Jesus took me in again with open arms. Actually, he never left my side. I just had to find some things out for myself. I believe in Jesus Christ. I know he's taking care of my family that's already gone from this life. But, I know he's pretty pissed right now too. I just hope he takes me, and the rest of my family and friends with him, when the time comes (The Rapture that is). Could be any day now ya know?
Peace.

I'm a Christian because I believe with my whole heart that Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sinful life so that I can spend eternity in heaven with him. I am proud to stand and say I love Jesus! I live every day to make God smile (sadly I fall short quite often, but I know when I do he'll forgive me.)

It's because I am deeply sure after all my life looking at things going on, that to keep it's existence world may only follow God's rules. Without God it would be chaos, and chaos is something beyond imagination. All not alive world, animals and biology are in line. Only people got free will. . No any civilization had developed if there was no religion present. And anyone who wanted people to go without God, had send them to disaster

I'm a Christian because He quickened my spirit and gave me life. He forgave my sins through Christ's work on the cross and has given my the desire and ability to deny myself, pick up my cross and follow Him. He's also given me joy in doing so. Praise be to God!
Thanks for the opportunity to share!

I grew up in church, but I never really LIVED for God. When I was 14 i realized my life was so empty and void.. and going to church and being "labeled" a christian wasn't enough. I pretty much grew sick and tired of being sick and tired. God completely changed my life and I have never been the same. Im so grateful for His love that I want to live my entire life for Him. Im 18 now, and I can't see myself anywhere else. He's everything to me. And the fact that His love for me is so unfailing, and unconditional, keeps me alive.

i am a Jesus freak bcuz i live for God and i live to transform the people who have conformed to the mold of the world, and how society thinks everyone should act. we as christians need to show the people of this world that society is not always right. we need to lead them to know Jesus as their personal lord and savior. if we do this, we will in deed lead more people to Christ and turn them into Jesus freaks as well.

I was a Christian because I had been raised that way and never seriously questioned it until I read the Bible.
