God is infinite, he didn't get created.
Humans can't handle that concept.
I find it funny, because in geometry a line goes on forever. And yet there doesn't seem to be much questioning of that.

(let us use the humanly knowledge we posses to answer this question. We do not know everything afterall. 'As a frog can't comprehend the sea') To answer your question, yes God 'did' know we would sin. God created Adam and Eve and gave them a choice, sin or not sin. They chose sin. There is evil in the world. Evil is the devil or, I could say, as darkness is only the absence of light. Evil is the absence of God.
Knowing this, we can move on-
God could have created us without any choices. There are a lot of sins. But God believes in free-will. Everyone is given a choice somewhere down the line. he has mad3e many wonderful things. This earth is so advanced that some look at it and say 'how could you not believe in god?' but others just see it as 'life' nothing special. Someone living after a fatal accident to them may seem like a miracle, but the way the stars light up the night sky and the way we can love so intensely (-love a mistake? I think not-) they do not see as a miracle.
It is in our nature to question things, for there are false profits and teachings. God wants us to question. For questioning is how we find the truth, and the truth is God. Be open minded, because you will find the right path. Just trust God and pray about it.
So it is in our nature to seek out God and choose to follow him or not. Those who take the right path, go with him in heaven.
So what about those 'good people' that don't believe everything in the bible? The only thing that gets you into heaven is believing that Jesus (I believe you need not know him by name) came to earth to forgive us for our sins. And we need to accept that we are sinners and want to change. If we invite change/Jesus into our hearts, we are Christians.
Everyone has sin and everyone needs to make changes in thier life. Some people think that all Christians are close-minded and such, but the truth is that most people are just close-minded, Christian or not.
I hope that helped and I hope you read my answer. :) I could go on for a while, but I wasn't wanting to write a book here.

I don't think you are allowed to be this smart or inquisitive on this site! ...
...The bible is not to be taken literally. I think it is more like stories that are told to guide us and to teach us valuable lessons. Take a minute to remember greek mythology. They make up these ridiculous yet entertaining stories to try to explain things that did not make any sense to them. I think religions do this a lot. Who is really to say that there is a god. It is hard to imagine a god who would create someone who didn't believe just so he could punish them. How could he create children born with disabilities? Or maybe, he just created life and we get what we get. I am not religious, but I find it all very fascinating. I tend to lean toward evolution more than creation, but both sides have thier gaps in the story. If we all knew the answers there would so much less to think about, and that would be a shame.

The answer to the questions is, first, Faith, and second, like you said yourself, free will. Faith is what makes up a religion. I don't believe God will punish people that do not believe in him, only evil people. A lot of atheists are very good people too.
As far as God being nothing, I think you should ask him someday. I can't even begin to imagine where he came from, except that perhaps he created existence for 'nothing' and 'something' to ever matter.

Hey, buddy, that was, like, 5 questions!
One view of "God" is that it is an eternal transcendent being, which exists outside of the dimensions of space and time. So, space and time exist inside of "God." Then, for fun you can add a little theoretical physics in to support infinite probability, and then you have everything that could ever happen anywhere all happening at once.
I agree that the whole "you thought for yourself, now you're going to Hell" routine is morally problematic. That's why I left the church when I was still in high school. I told my pastor, "if this is really how your God is, then I am more moral than God."

God is not an energy form.
God is the laws of physics that even
commands the DNA genetic codes.
God is also the spirit of life. If the future were
known, what would be the point?
Sadly enough, religions and churches are
just tools that mankind uses to nail down
something that's not supposed to be nailed
down to begin with.
Heaven and Earth will eventually pass away.
However, energy and the Laws Of Physics
that energy interfaces with, shall never pass
away.

your trying to understand a supernatural thing with your natural mind....
and what more signs do you want? Without a creator, there would be no creation. It's like when you look at a building, you know there was a builder because you see the building. You are living proof God exists.

I agree with you. That is a very important question that is impossibe to answer. I myself have sat in the dark wondering what is the meaning off our existance and who created us. No I am not an atheist but i am not some highly religious person either. I think you should just follow your heart of what answer you are most comfortable with.

You're thinking of God in terms of being a seperate entity. He's not. He is all things. We are Him. And it is arrogant to think any superbeing would think we were worth being given reasons to suffer. We suffer to appreicate love. One thing cannot exist without it's opposite or else it'd cease to exist. We suffer because WE are the ones who create our problems.

We believe in God because our parents taught us that, the proof we have is our faith, is to complicate to try to make an analysis, this is just simple like this:
You believe or You don't believe
I believe God is My Savior, No questions asked. I believe in Jesus Christ, No questions asked and I believe in the holy spirit, no questions asked. I believe it by faith. I believe in miracles by faith.
I don't use to discuss about religion, I just think religions are a big piece of ****. I believe in God, and not in religions, religions are commanded by men, I don't believe in men.
In the bible said, God Is the beginning and the end, I believe that. And I believe God guide my life.
Amen
