I mean, wow. It can get pretty sickening hearing some of the comments Athiests have towards Christians. "Christians are mentally ill," Christians are "Jesus Freaks," etc. Who I believe in, is constantly being mocked beyond belief on Yahoo Answers; I can understand some repulsion of some Christians trying to convert some Athiests over the internet, which I myself actually find ridiculous and lazy. Luke 16:19-31 basically has a moral that says people have to change on their own free will. I can't force anyone to change. So I don't, unless they ask me to. There are a lot of "Christians" here who don't read the Bible (and may not know that scripture) and may say ridiculous things, but why go so low as to degrade the Christian society back to a civil rights-type era?

to do is believe and have faith. but as a child i with all my heart believed and had faith that Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny, and The Tooth Fairy were real and exsisted.
As i grew up i learned the truth about them so why should god be any different? just another fable?

I have a big problem. It has been foretold thousands of years ago of my second coming. now that I am here, I am seen as a mental patient where ever I go and nobody believes that I am God in flesh. I was sent down from heaven as it is time for me to release you from your sins but you are all ignorant sheep and do not want me to save you. You go and pray in churches, mosques and temples of all sorts, you all pray for the same God, me, yet when I am here, you want to put me in an assylum. May the wrath of YOUR FATHER be upon you.

It is absolutely amazing to me that someone is as angry as this poor woman. I am sure she will see this and respond. I am just wondering what happend in Brenda's World to make her hate Christians so much. What ever happened I apologize on their behalf. I mean that sincerely, because we just aren't all like she is describing us.

first qeustion to god when i see him is ,why did i keep comeing back to this site,it puts me a little in the flesh,i think its time to move on....

If a person suffered from obsessive complusive disorder and they had to call a police information desk 12 times in a row from their home phone, then the next day do the same thing 12 times in a row each time asking a real legit question, also they are asking this question 12 times in a row to the same phone operator. Do you think this would be considered phone harrassment and would the person who called the police station 24 times in 2 days be arrested?

state that in many early bibles, hell was never mentioned in them, along with never mentioning the devil. so wouldn't you believe those bibles more than bibles after them? wouldn't that prove that not everything in the bible is worth believing? and why would you believe in something that is proven to be written numerous times

Example - I can read and find hidden light across several hundred texts, some taking longer than others and it seems to upset quite a few people. Since no one person is any greater than another I don't see what the problem is but it seems to cause alot of friction.

Some answerers give her some very reasonable answers, to refute the nonsense she obviously claims as truth. Some theists shout in their answers what a brilliant statement she made.

Does this show that atheists and theists just speak complete different languages? Is this really what that cute little story of the Tower of Babel was all about?

With all the destruction in the Middle East, God says a political leader will be raised up who will bring world peace--but it will be false peace bec after 3 and a half years of peace, the leader will force pple to worship him and kill those who don't.
I despise when pple say the antichrist is George Bush because the bible says that the antichrist will be someone who everyone loves. In this case, not everyone loves George Bush so it is impossible for him to be the antichrist. The antichrist will be loved by many. pple will be deceived.
The Bible clearly states the things that need to happen before the return of Christ. One of those things is many wars and rumors of wars, many earthquakes and rumors--also the same with floods and other weather related things.
The bible also says that the temple will be rebuilt first and when it is, that will be a sign that Christ will come soon.
I don't play date setting games but I believe we are close and I believe in the pretribulational rapture
