Yes.

l Thessalonians 4:13, 18

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Judgment day is almost at hand. Everyone will be judged on the day when nothing can be hidden from view. All your sins will be laid out in the open and you will first have to prove your righteousness to enter the doors to heaven.
You will receive your original body in heaven, that is the one which your father and mother Adam and Eve had prior to their wrongdoing. You will feel no pain nor longing. You will know everyone and will be able to speak to all living creatures. You will spend the day praising your Lord and be given what you have here but with different tastes. Yes, you will recognise your children.

Yes! David's son died and David said: "But now he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me." Rest assured, all those who die before the age of accountability and all those who knew Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Savior from all their sins will be in heaven and you will know them.

The state of consciousness in heaven is something we can't comprehend. Our earth-bound relationships on earth (even our spouses) will not be the same as in heaven.

Diamond doll is right. I can't think of the verse, either, though, but her answer is more accurate.

And what's up with the "gag" response? You're rude.

When we are united with God we will be outside of time as He is, and not only will we see our children, but we will see all past and future generations. We will be MORE alive, not less, as some people think.

God - I sure hope not. I don't know my 'children' here as they refuse to have any contact with me. And how do you expect an 'honest' answer - I don't know of anyone who's been there and come back.

Yes, I believe so. I also have a child in Heaven, and know that longing, and I get my answer from God's Word. The Bible says, that we will be known, even as we are known. I am not sure of where it is found though.

Your very welcome to contact me if you wish.

don't you think we will? Remember the rich man and Lazarus? The rich man knew Lazarus up in heaven. When Moses and Elijah came to talk to Jesus, the three apostles knew who they were. Do you have kids there? I have one and i'm counting on knowing him.

I can take a guess and say yes! People still have their same names in heaven, remember Jesus called people by name that were in heaven. Sure we'll know them! And we won't have to "get onto them" any more! yeah!

It says in the Bible, and I will try to find it, that we will know one another as we were on Earth, but wont feel anymore love for the ones we know as anyone else. So, youll know they were your children, but you will love them as much as all your other family in Christ. I will try to look it up.
