to do is believe and have faith. but as a child i with all my heart believed and had faith that Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny, and The Tooth Fairy were real and exsisted.
As i grew up i learned the truth about them so why should god be any different? just another fable?

Santa, the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy were the first lies that adults tell us, why should we believe the other stuff that they have said.

As a child, I never believed in Santa and the tooth fairy the same way I believe in God (We didn't do the Easter Bunny). Santa and the Tooth Fairy are said to be seen by adults and not allowed to be seen by the child. That's what gave it away to me. God is a spirit. Parents don't say "I saw him, but you're not allowed to. Anyway, it goes beyond just getting money and presents. You're free to think however you do but for me, Santa and the like are much more shallow symbols than that of God. If you don't believe you'll never understand. Don't expect to.

Here's the difference. Kids usually learn the truth about Santa, tooth fairy, Easter bunny through finding their parents hiding the gifts/money/candy. You can't CATCH someone "being GOD". You either choose to believe or you don't. Trust me, it's not the same. I was a very skeptical child about a lot of things. God wasn't one of them.

Why are so many people so bent on trying to make everyone atheists? Don't say because religious people try to convert you. If you think it's wrong, Why would you do the same in return? You really think the world would be better off if everyone were atheists?

there in lies the problem. of course after you grew up you found out the truth about santa, the easter bunny, and tooth fairy because the obviously do not exist. the difference with God is he does, the bible says seek and ye shall find, God is waiting for you and anyone else to willingly seek him cause when you do he will not hide from you and youll see for yourself. ive never seen him personally but the things ans events thats taken place in my life is proof enough for me to have faith he exist. but here is the catch youve got to honestly seek him and not have a biased attitude for if you dont put your all into it and you dont get a response then you cant say he doesnt exist because you held back from him but if you honestly look he will reveal himself to you, and the response the you need to have to have the faith it would take to believe in him thats the response God will provide then itll be your decison to accept it or neglect it.

A tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye. it all depends on what you really truely believe in your heart. No one is a true believer unless that person has experienced a supernatural situation where it has changed their lives.

i would say if you haven't experienced such, then you can really never be a believer unless it has changed your life.

You cannot see oxygen, but you need it to live. you can't see the wind but it can be felt. you can't see the unseen but it's real.

And if you never had a religeous experience, then you know how hard it is to understand the supernatural forces.

You have faith in things all the time.

Its not that you have faith but WHAT have you put your faith in?

When it comes to where you will spend eternity, you better be sure you put your faith in the right GOd!

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and The life , No man can come to the Father except through (faith in ) me".

Whens the last time God climbed down your chimney, left you chocolate or money under your pillow?

As you aged, you began to realize they were dis-proven.

God has not been dis-proven. Believe, dont believe, its up to you. Here never brough you anything to prove it, nor took it away to dis-prove it, hence faith.
