With all the destruction in the Middle East, God says a political leader will be raised up who will bring world peace--but it will be false peace bec after 3 and a half years of peace, the leader will force pple to worship him and kill those who don't.
I despise when pple say the antichrist is George Bush because the bible says that the antichrist will be someone who everyone loves. In this case, not everyone loves George Bush so it is impossible for him to be the antichrist. The antichrist will be loved by many. pple will be deceived.
The Bible clearly states the things that need to happen before the return of Christ. One of those things is many wars and rumors of wars, many earthquakes and rumors--also the same with floods and other weather related things.
The bible also says that the temple will be rebuilt first and when it is, that will be a sign that Christ will come soon.
I don't play date setting games but I believe we are close and I believe in the pretribulational rapture

Dear Bonnie,

Christians do not look at the events that are going on in the world to determine what time it is.. In WW2 many people believed that Hitler was the antichrist and the world would shortly come to an end. We always must look at the Bible for our reference. And as we study, we see in 2 Peter 3 that the Lord speaks of the great flood in which He destroyed the world and saved 8 people alive (Noah and his family). Then we see an interesting Scripture in verse 8 of that same chapter. And then God discusses the end of the world--the world shall be destroyed by fire and everything will be burned up. If we look at Genesis 7:1-4 we see that 7 days before the flood God told Noah to bring his family and all the animals into the ark. The flood ocurred in 4990 B.C. Now, from 2 Peter 3:8 we find that one day equals a thousand years and a thousand years equals one day. So substituting 7000 for the one week before the flood we get 2011 (remember there is no zero year). It appears from this Scripture that 2011 may be the year that the Lord returns. This would mark Judgement Day and the end of the world. If you would like further info see: www.familyradio.com. The Bible tells us that no man knows the day nor the hour of Christ return but it does not say that we cannot know the year.
As for the temple--forget about it. Israel as a nation will never hold Jesus Christ as Messiah. God has chosen a remnant (a small piece of the whole) to save and that remnant is made up of people of every nation and tongue.

Definetely. Don't worry though keep your eyes on heaven and all the rest is futile.

Your right in saying there is wars and famines and different weather conditions. I'm not sure who the anti-christ is and when he will come but I believe it wil be at a time when there is little peace in the world. We are heading towards that direction.

Revelation also predicts people being burnt by the sun, this will happen if the rate of global warming continues. I believe Christ will one day come and we have a 1000 years of reign to look forward to someday.

I also think that the largest, oldest fraternity with powerful and rich people involved has something to do with the end and the beast in revelation. I have done my own research and come to this conclusion.

I believe the fights and wars is going to escalate in Jerusalem as this is where Jesus was crucified and is a perfect place for the devil to concentrate his efforts on. Watch this space!

There are so many variables re: THE END TIMES . You could actually take verses from
GOD'S Holy Word and correlate a very good time frame ,and yes We are there at the start .

An Example is go to www.earthquakes.com
and see the daily strikes from small to what we consider to be dangerous.
Also the wars and almost wars preparing to start.
The various confusing preachings on this matter.
The only true teachings are the ones from
God's word.
The word says the signs :
2Peter 3;12
Isaiah 24
( Matthew 24;6) read this and be assured that in his time WE WILL KNOW!
Both old and new testaments foresee this end time

As a Muslim, I do believe the world will end sometime soon. Not today, or tomorrow, or even the next 50 years. Only God knows.

Just as the bible predicts the coming of the AntiChrist, so does the Qur'an. In Islam, the AntiChrist is referred to as "Masih Ad-dajjal", which means "The False Messiah". Dajjal will come at a time when ignorance will be wide and rampant, when leaders of people will be the worst of them, when knowledge will be lost, when sex out of wedlock will be common, when earthquakes will increase, and so many more. When Dajjal comes, he will first claim to be a prophet and then he will call himself God. He will have supernatural powers given to him by God, which will fool people into believing him.

People have been saying that for thousands of years. It was widley believed that Jesus would come back during the lifetime of the disciples. That obviously didn't happen.

Matthew 24:36
“No one knows, however, when that day and hour will come-neither the angels in heaven not the Son, the Father alone knows."

Even Christ doesn't/didn't know. Don't even bother thinking it is near, because you have absolutely no way of knowing. Just go on with your life, and live a life that is pleasing to God. That's all we can do.

It seems like you already have an answer set in your mind and that you are not entirely open to differing opinions. I hope I'm just misinterpret ting the tone of your question. That's entirely possible.

No. I do not ON ANY LEVEL believe we are at the end of days. Every generation in it's extreme arrogance has believed they 're the last. I believe that comes from the fact that we can't imagine the world going on without us. It can and it will. We haven't witnessed the horrors that they went through in WWII or the extremities of twisting faith that was the Spanish Inquisition. We are arrogant to believe we are the last; that God would choose us to be the witness to his greatest triumph because we're just so DARNED important.

It gives us an excuse to persecute those who don't believe as we do and to kill our planet ("After all, God is going to destroy it any second anyway, isn't he? Party on").

If we want the wars and rumours of wars to stop, we have to stand up to the warmongers. If we want the floods and weather to stop, we need to DEMAND that short-sighted TRULY evil people stop destroying the planet and setting the atmosphere in imbalance.

But we won't. Because we WANT the end of days.

The bible says a lot of things hun. Most of which are not true.

How can you let yourself be doused with fear because a 2,500 year old book said so?

This is the equivalent of living your life according to Grimm's Fairy Tales. Its a book. Books have words.

Moreover, that book did not come from god. It was filtered through other men who are equally flawed as the rest of us. You think that the bible is the word-for-word hand down from god? Someone didnt play the telephone game when they were a kid.
