For far too long we have been inundated with religious preachers knocking on doors, screaming on street corners, babbling in church, and worst of all, using TV to ram their beliefs down our throats and those of our children. Prophets or profits? I think the answer is obvious. Hands raised upwards, then into the pockets, let’s give money money money.
A little old lady comes on stage, push her forehead, she falls over and low and behold, she’s cured of her mental and physical woes. Hands raised again, yep you’re on to it, let’s give more money money money. Check out the preachers shiny white teeth as they count their gold.
Here’s the truth. Sam has a lunatic in his head, crippled legs, done his bit for the country, but Sam manges to come on stage smiling, gets pushed over, falls flat on his a.s.s and he’s still got a lunatic in his head, and he’s still a cripple. Guess what, no money money money. That’s the real truth.

You'll never know unless you try. That's how I feel about it. I can't say anything is staged until i can prove that they couldn't cure me or someone i know. Since I haven't been to any of those shows and i know none of those people, I can't say it doesn't work.

Brenda, turn the television off, don't answer your door, the people on the street corners are not from this world. Maybe your kids(bless their hearts) could watch a little Sponge Bob Square pants or something, since I would guess that you would be opposed to the Veggie Tales. It's a free country, you do not have to participate in any of the activities you are ranting about. There are a great many medications available to help you with your obvious anger problems. Those religious preachers will only need to answer to God. Therefore, judge not, least ye be judged. Additionally, please know that the devil is real busy, as evident by all the non-believers who speak against the Bible. Truly their lives can be saved if we earnestly pray for them. I will include all the non-believers in my prayers tonight, for they new a revelation of truth and they need to be shown the grace that is available if they truly seek answers from God. Perhaps you should stop watching television and begin praying because the devil/satan is busy, with all his lies, deception and his methods of trickery - the trickery that has you believing that money is what motivates these preachers into telling the truth. One day, you will see a miracle and deny that God made it possible. What little faith ye have!!!

Sam can be healed by God, and the lunitics can be cast into a herd of pigs. God still loves and cares for Sam, all Sam has to do is call to Jesus Christ for help and Sam does not need a televangelist to do that for him. If Sam sincerely wants help from God, God will hear and help Sam, whether sames doles out money or not. Draw near to God and he will Draw near to you!!!

There are liars and con-men in every aspect of our lives. Religion, politics, everywhere. If the presence of corruption in congress doesn't disprove the existence of the constitution, then the presence of corruption in the church doesn't disprove the existence of God.
God CAN heal, and DOES heal. God is God, he can do what he wants. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how many miracles He performs, some people will refuse to believe no matter what.
That's the cost of atheism. If you don't believe in God, then you don't believe in being blessed and loved.

Thank you, Glenn, but I'm Sam, and by God's sovereign grace and mercy I have both legs and a patient heart filled with the saving love of our Lord. I have no idea what Brenda is trying to get across in reference to me, but what I am trying to get across to her is that there's plenty of light to see by, if only she would stop attacking God and open her eyes.
BW, you remind me of a woman who stands next to a water fountain, warning people that water is poisonous, while she herself dies of thirst. The path you've chosen is clearly not making you happy. Wouldn't you rather be happy than the way you are living now?
For your own sake, I urge you to earnestly ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive your sins and be your Lord and Savior. It’s sad and ironic that God, the very One you so often attack, is the One who loves you more than you could ever know, and the only One who can heal your wounded spirit. He'll give you peace, joy, love, and true happiness. Anyone can see that you have none of these things now. And more, He'll give you eternal life, so these gifts will not stop when you leave the Earth. Please consider it; no one should have to live in the kind of misery you are plainly experiencing. Your first step toward a new and wonderful life MUST be to recognize your own need and stop attacking God, who wants only to give you His awesome, healing love.
