So Methuselah is wrong... there are alot of "armchair" philosophers on this site ,who perhaps based on singular articles ( that aren't speaking for the whole of the science) make rash and stupid assertions about what seems in the lineage...as stands now- Lucy-pithicus and the Habilus later are still thought strongly likely in our lineage... Boisei, and the much later Neanderthal are examples of likely cul de sacs that were not in our lineage ...
