Should I pick it because it requires the least effort?

Or should I pick it because it offers the alternative of an eternity in Hell for not picking it?

For me, choosing a religion is not like picking products in a supermarket according to their pro´s and con´s.
You should FEEL which one is more comfortable for you, FEEL which one has more really valuable things to teach you, and FEEL which one serves you best in your personal quest for truth and well-being.
I would disregard all the reward/punishment mambo-jambo in my consideration. That´s a really childish way to approach (and practice) a religion.
Good luck with your quest.

You don't pick Christianity to follow. You hear the gospel that Christ died for your sins and you know that you are a sinner on your way to hell. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Then you put your trust and faith in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

How many people do you know have risen from the dead to testify about other belief systems? How many books have you read where real live human beings in our society that have come back from the dead to testify that Buddha is real, or Allah is the one true God? Or Krishna is the way to go? Yes, there are many religions out there but they can't all be true. Somebody is lying or else they all wouldn't be contradicting another religion. Christianity is not about a religion, its about a relationship with Jesus himself. All religions may promise immortality but how many are accurate? Whether or not I believe in Jesus, I can't deny the fact that there is a Heaven and a Hell. Too many people like athiests, agnostics and Christians themselves who have come back from the dead have testified that there is another dimension out there outside of Earth, either full of demons or angels. There is no way you can get yourself to Heaven, only through the Blood of Jesus that you are able to enter in. In other religions, you have to sacrifice something to get the gods attention. I firmly believe that Satan will do anything to stop people from following the one true God by allowing all kinds of false religions with all their false promises to be a detour for that individual. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life..." There is no other god or savior that can either help you or stop you from going astray - only the one true God can.

Jesus Christ said, "I AM the Way, Truth and Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.". Other belief systems do not promise immortality and eternal peace. Only one God does that.

For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life.

It does not take the least effort, it just tells you your effort does not give you salvation.

You should follow it because the Bible tells how man is sinful , very evident today!

And God did not make crap up in the Bible about man being great and working to him, but him coming to your level!

Character counts your and Gods seek nd you find christianity like this guy did!

Hey Ray W:

Ex 12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
12:30 ...and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

Don't forget that part.

because Christ is the reason there is the option of eternal life. Him dying for our sins. Christianity teaches what he taught during his sermons, and gave him as an example to us for living.

not every belief system makes these promises and you should pick whatever you believe, not what someone persuaded or told you to believe
