And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.

The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me, 26but you do not believe because you are not part of my flock. 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them to me,[a] is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30I and the Father are one."

"Other sheep". Well it is not Jews that are alive then. Probably not Jews who have already died.
Who could it be?

1- future Chrsitians (maybe)
2- pre-flood believers (maybe)
3- all humans who never heard the name Jesus (maybe)
4- beings in another planet (probably not)
5- aborted or children that died young (maybe)
6- ????

In essence He is talking those who would become believers in Him. This would include people of that day and all who would come to know and accept him as The Anointed One. This would be Jews (the first 3,000 believers were Jews) and Gentiles (literally nations). This is really not exclusionary but totally inclusionary for those who are right hearted. In context, this was part of a discussion with religious leaders (not necessarily rightfully though), who had challenged his working of miracles. He was using a metaphor to describe himself as a shepherd leading his believers.

The "other sheep that are not of this fold" are Gentiles.

Gentiles in Christ
Ephesians 2:11-22

Christ Jesus makes in Himself one new man (Eph.2:11-22 below), the church of God (1 Cor.10:32), His living body (Col.1:24), from both the Jews and the Gentiles who believe in Him as their personal savior.

In Christ Jesus, individually, as well as collectively, we BECOME a “new” creature (2 Cor.5:17, Gal.6:15); we BECOME the church of God (1 Cor.10:32, Gal.1:13, 1 Cor.1:2).

Eph.2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye [being] IN TIME PAST Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Eph.2:12 That at that time ye WERE without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Eph.2:13 But now IN Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Eph.2:14For he is our peace, WHO HATH MADE BOTH ONE (Eph.2:16 below), and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us];

Eph.2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain ONE NEW MAN, [so] making peace;

Eph.2:16And that he might RECONCILE BOTH unto God IN ONE BODY by the cross (Eph.2:14 above), having slain the enmity thereby:

Eph.2:17And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Eph.2:18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Eph.2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Eph.2:20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone] (1 Pe.2:6);

Eph.2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Eph.2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

3rd Nephi 17: 14-23
14 And not at any time hath the Father given me commandment that I should atell it unto your brethren at Jerusalem.
  15 Neither at any time hath the Father given me commandment that I should tell unto them concerning the aother tribes of the house of Israel, whom the Father hath led away out of the land.
  16 This much did the Father acommand me, that I should tell unto them:
  17 That other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one ashepherd .
  18 And now, because of astiffneckedness and bunbelief they cunderstood not my word; therefore I was commanded to say no more of the dFather concerning this thing unto them.
  19 But, verily, I say unto you that the Father hath commanded me, and I tell it unto you, that ye were aseparated from among them because of their iniquity; therefore it is because of their iniquity that they know not of you.
  20 And verily, I say unto you again that the other tribes hath the Father separated from them; and it is because of their iniquity that they know not of them.
  21 And verily I say unto you, that ye are they of whom I said: aOther sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one bshepherd .
  22 And they understood me not, for they supposed it had been the aGentiles ; for they understood not that the Gentiles should be bconverted through their preaching.
  23 And they understood me not that I said they shall hear my voice; and they understood me not that the aGentiles should not at any time hear my voice—that I should not manifest myself unto them save it were by the bHoly Ghost.

Jesus says the other sheep are members of the tribes of Isreal that have been scattered. Best wishes.

"Us and them" is taught by traditional religions. That's why they get into wars.

My book (Tao Te Cheng) teaches that there is only one spirit in the Universe. So there can only be "us and us" or "we and we" depending on how you look at it.

It's human nature to exclude someone. It's a disguise for knowing that we're screwed up ourselves.

I agree with your extra, extra long Answers, but it would be better if you summarised them, and gave other people the chance to support your opinion. Your average American aint gonna read an answer so long, so the mesage will be lost ;)

Doesn't it blow your mind that Jesus is more inclusivist than many of his alleged followers?

Jesus Christ is refering to the Gentiles, that are the other sheep. They were not of the flock of Jewish people. But when we believe and are born again we become one flock in God's eyes.

John 10

1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. 7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. 19 There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. 20 And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? 21 Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? 22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. 39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, 40 And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. 41 And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true. 42 And many believed on him there.
