Most Christians had Christianity forced in their brains as children.

Lots of them were threatened with the hell myth

Most Christians were born into a world surrounded by nothing but Christians.

Lot of people would accept Christianity because they dont want to be the outcast

By the time they're old enough to question Christianity, they're brains are already gone. If they do question it. They would be totally bias

I've also heard that when people question things about religion he is testing your faith. Or when something bad happens to you, it's god testing to you be strong and stay with him. If he doesn't test us, how can this be true? I'm confused!!!!!!!!

Why do people confuse christianity with catholicism. Don't get it twisted. Some people think they have it all figured out and say they ARE the same when they are absolutely not.
In Catholicism they have some idoltry. They worship the virgin Mary is if she was queen of heaven but she is not and God just used her to deliver Jesus to this world. Then they uphold the pope as if he were God, but the pope is absolutely nothing but a mere man himself. No man is holier or righteous than another. The rever him as God on earth but he is just an idol who gets worshipped basically. They also believe they can have sins forgiven by "confessing" to a priest which is not true because that is just a man and only God can forgive sins like it says in the bible. They used those booths to black mail people before.Christians believe in worshipping GOd only through Jesus and excepting the Holy Spirit and being saved by confessing to God and having sins washed with blood of jesus and repenting.

i believe in god and i know he is real but at times i cant feel him i wonder if this means im unsaved or if i have just fallin to far away if so how do i find myway back? so many things are going wrong in my life right now from lonliness to confusion i dont know if im sure what the truth is anymore or who is telling it i love god but christians seem to be the last to offer help when truely in need the god i long for and that my heart desires to know is not the one that alot of todays christians speak of there actions are not ones of love so it pushes people like me farther away from god when all i desire is to know the love of him i dont wish to judge those who feel different about him and i dont want to be judged either for wanting to love him i just want to find the truth for me and my children

The Bible says Thou Shalt not Kill. I have heard this used as a reason abortion is wrong. If you truly believe this then why is it ok to kill death row inmates? Why is it ok to drop bombs on people when you know they will die?

Currently Pentacostal, but they have women pastoring over men and speak in tongues without interpretation which is contrary to scripture. Thinking of 7th day Adventists as they seem to follow every single thing as the Bible states, but a little concerned about their super strict views on TV, movies, music and wearing jewelry.
I believe in the Holy Spirit and the gifts, but my kid and husband won't go to church with me because of the "confusion" of tongues and the chaos of the worship. Although I LOVE the lively service, I feel in my heart that I need to go to a church where my son and husband can receive the word without confusion and distress, but I need solid biblical teaching and not a snoozefest like I grew up with in the Baptist church. I don't believe in Catholicism, and need a church that believes STRONGLY in the Holy Spirit, and the power given to help us in our life on earth after being saved. Please help me find a denomination! Thanks and God bless!

One example is there is a religion that no longer believes in polygamy except for a spinoff sect of them. Does that mean that from their perspective that God or their prophet was wrong on polygamy and they now corrected it, or are they wrong for not practicing it anymore?

Not just this one religion but many others have changed beliefs or rewritten their bibles. So when a religion changes a philosophy obviously one or the other was wrong. So was it their prophet/God or they?

Not picking on any particular religion just curious which party was wrong to incur the change.
