Before you answer please read Geneses
6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

God is very much capable of evil just as its creation at ANY given time because we are a representation of god. I am inclined to think that any environment that god has created for any type of beings to reside will have a child like innocence at first introduction until you get use to your environment and realize it is not as blissful as you thought. Beings will raise hell until infinity as long as there is free will. All beings on this earth and evil beings apparently use alleged free will to cause devastation or peacefully not follow god for that matter. Reality shows that in order to call something all good you have to have bad to reference to or you will never learn the concept and if evil is gone forever how in the heck will you know what you are doing is good without bad to reference to? I think good and evil are on the same curb except opposite ends because they balance each other as long as both exist.

Isaiah 42:8

"And the swine,. . . he is unclean to you. Of the flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you." Leviticus, 11:7-8

"Pork although one of the most common articles of diet, is one of the most injurious. God did not prohibit the Hebrews from eating swines' flesh merely to show His authority, but because it was not a proper article of food for man."

So again, why do you christians or Jews eat pork?

Atheists, non christians or people of the book should ignore and refrain from taking part in this thread or answering.

Thank you!

there are many questions, "what would you do if you kid told you they were gay?" well, my question is... what would you do if your kid told you they believed (religiously or non) completely opposite of how you believed and raised them?

God is perfect.
God deliberately created the universe
Perfection entails the lack of needs or wants
Being perfect, God does not now nor ever has nor ever will have any needs or wants.
Deliberate creation entails an effort to satisfy some need or want.
Being a creator, God at one time had some need or want. It is impossible to have some need or want and also to never have any need or want.
Conclusion: God, if it exists, is either not perfect or has not created anything.
If God is perfect, then God can’t have any needs or wants; hence, God wouldn’t bother

None of them keep Yahweh's 613 inspired laws that are found in the Holy Scriptures. That is why sin is abounding in these last days as stated by Isa 24:1-6.

seems pointless IMO. I don't like cricket, so I don't go to the Sports section.

perhaps there should be an atheist section seeing as how atheism is not a religion.

If you dont look at other religions and compare them, how do you know yours is true? Maybe only parts of it are true, so you believe the whole thing is, but perhaps there is another faith system out there that is more true to you. How can you be considered open minded when you are so one tracked with only one religion?

This goes for any religion becuase Jesus is for everyone. Did you ever wonder if Jesus really married and had a child, and that Catholic church changed our history? Why do you think?

I don't understand why they think this way when it says plainly in the bible that all generations shall call Mary blessed. It doesn't say anywhere that all generations shall call Eve blessed.

Eve disobeyed God, and said yes to the devil. But, Mary completely surrendered herself to the will of God saying yes to Him.

Remember the only acceptable answer here is a definition of "religion" that is (a) an generally accepted definition of the word "religion" and (b) is broad enough to include atheism within its scope.

All the writers and authors of the New Testament were Catholics. The Catholic Church determined the canon of scripture and gave us the Bible in 393. At that time they adopted the Greek Septuagint version of the Old Testament because it was the one used by Christ and the apostles. (Even the protestant Bibles have quotes from Jesus and the apostles which refer back to these books).

I know Martin Luther wanted to make his own doctrines and threw out several books from both the Old and New Testaments (He called James "An epistle of straw"). Most protestants later restored the New Testament books, but not the Old, adopting the Hebrew (Saducees) version instead.

On what grounds?
