Only share with people who show interest in the religion. People who dont believe have already been preached to a million times and it still hasnt worked, because it is not something they accept as the truth. I have talked to so many different people, gone to different churches and still cant believe in Christianity. Help those who want the help, leave everyone else alone with their beliefs. You probably would not like an atheist trying to preach to you either.

Preaching can be done by you growing and them seeing the joy and change in your life.

Read these books
the ragamuffin gospel
mere christianiy
simply christian

these will help you grow along with your bible reading.

Remember, Paul tried to go right out and preach and had to be let out of the city in a basket. it was around 10 years until he started to preach again.

Grow in your faith and this will be a good start.

For those you know just tell them about your peace with God. It is all you need to say for now!

Don't "preach" as we traditionally understand that word... instead, share what you have been through and what Christ has done for you... be prepared... there are going to be questions and rebuttals and you have to have a firm understanding of the Bible in order to have intelligent conversation.

Understand that just because someone is not a believer does not mean that individual is not informed. It also doesn't mean that individual is not intelligent and able to form his or her own opinion. Don't be like so many Christians and try to force feed someone the Bible.

Remember that a soft answer turns away wrath... Study to show yourself approved.

I to am not very good at preaching to other people because I get nervous and am afraid I won't say the right thing. But you must read your Bible and be armed to answer any question they might and the holy spirit will help give the words you need and help you remember what you have read. Romans 10 is great chapter to share with non-believers.

One way is to look in Yahoo Answers for questions that seem to say they are seeking the Lord, or even those who seem to be antagonistic, which may mean the Holy Spirit is working with them, and they are running. In personal witnessing, just remember, we are not responsible for what someone does when we tell them of our Lord: Only that we do tell them. There is no better way to tell them than just to relate what Christ did for you. Someone told Billy Graham about Christ. Don't you wish it had been you? Somewhere in the world is a young boy who may have the same potential-If someone shows him the way. If you had a million dollars to give away, wouldn't you be eager, and gain a lot of pleasure in finding recipients who needed it? Would you take a million dollars in exchange for your salvation? Well, then you have something to share worth more than a million dollars, and it doesn't diminish in value no matter how many you share it with. Don't let the skepticism of the world lessen your appreciation the gift God has given you. See you in Heaven. I'll know you by the multitude of stars in your crown.

The very best advice I ever received was this: "preach the gospel message all the time...and when absolutely necessary, use words". Instead of bombarding people with words, we can demonstrate the love of Jesus by being kind, patient, merciful, forgiving, compassionate, all those things. Allow God's spirit to lead you, if the opportunity comes up to talk to someone about the Lord.

Oftentimes, when someone is sharing a trouble with me or a need, I will ask them, may I pray for you? Or I ask them, do you mind my asking, do you know the Lord? Then I find out if they reach out to Him in prayer, when they have needs. I am always very respectful of their response, whether they want me to talk further about Jesus, etc.

Ask God to give you opportunities to share about His son. Let Him guide you, and God bless your sweet desire to spread the good news!

Drop a seed.
This may be in the form of a comment, or a statement of faith
[A one liner is best]
Never preach. Never get into an argument. Never ridicule.
If they have a question (a real question not something like why are Christians so dumb) answer it to the best of your ability or go find the answer for them. Make it short.
The Seed may grow, it may wither and die, and it may be choked by weeds.
But even if one blooms it is a victory.

I respect your wish to spread the Gospel. Many of the people who have answered have said: "Leave them alone!" or "Don't spread it! Keep it to yourself!" However, if you believe it to be the truth and really want to share it, don't be afraid to. You need to be prepared to deal with many debates concerning the subject though. If you try to convert somebody to Christianity, it is only fair that they try to prove to you that Christianity is false. Don't listen to these people who say to keep it to yourself. These people are obviously not open minded. Instead, use your judgment to choose a good time to talk about your religion. If the person doesn't want to discuss it, don't push it.

Jesus says, "do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say." (Matthew 10:19)

Pray for the future witnessing opportunities you will have, pray for boldness, and that the Holy Spirit would teach you what to say. Mostly, live out the life that God calls us to. Become more holy with each passing day, allow God to chip away at you to make you into a child of God. People who know you will notice and will ask.

And don't give up.

First, you most have facts to prove to who ever you are trying to teach. You must be able to teach and show them that they can read the church in the bible. Teach them how there is only one church, and that Christ is the only on in the bible to promise to build the church, Matthew 16:18. Romans 16:16 And how Prophets in the old testament talked about the coming of the church. Isaiah 2:2- and more. But one thing, you also have to be in the Lord's church. And if you can't prove this stuff about the church you go to, something is wrong.
