I've noticed if you are not a Christian, Christians bash the hell out of you. Just feel that love....

Astronomically, what occurs on that day is an alignment between the galactic and solar planes. Specifically, the winter solstice sun will conjunct the Milky Way, which is the edge of our spinning spiral galaxy. The place where the sun meets the Milky Way is where the "dark-rift" in the Milky Way is - a black ridge along the Milky Way caused by interstellar dust clouds This is a feature of the Milky Way anyone can see on a clear midsummer's night. At dawn on the winter solstice of A.D. 2012, the sun will be right in this dark-rift, and the orientation is such that the Milky Way rims the horizon at all points around. Thus, the Milky Way "sits" on the earth, touching it at all points around, opening up the cosmic sky portal. The galactic and solar planes are thus aligned. "Sky portal" is just a term to describe the "opened sky" scenario apparent when the Milky Way rims the horizon. This is not to be confused with the "dark-rift" itself."

Who thinks that this event could signal the end?

How can people claim they have a right to die? I've heard people say "But God doesn't want us to be in pain. That's why Jesus died for us, because God is a fair and loving, all-powerful Being." Did you ever think that maybe God gives people chronic illnesses and terminal diseases to teach us lessons, make us stronger or just because -- Hey! -- He's God and He can? God is whatever God wants to be, not what I or you says he is. That's the beauty of it all. If God is all we say he is, and much, much more, He doesn't have to be. If God exists as an all-powerful, all-knowing, all forgiving, all creating, all-ad-infinitum, etc., the wouldn't He (She, It) be more than capable of being something else? The Bible tells us we were created in His image. That was then, and this is now. Do you think it is currently within God's power to be a single blade of grass? Is that why there are so many sign which read "KEEPOFF THE GRASS!" Or is that merely a subliminal anti-marijuana campaign?

I think the best way to live life is to not be on one extreme or the other. In other words, moderation is the key. We shouldn't abuse food, drugs, drink, etc. Can you, therefore, spend too much time on your spiritual growth? Can there be an argument that by spending so much time on spiritual growth other areas in your life suffer, like family, job, etc?

While you can incorporate your family in on your religious/spiritual activities.....it's still a personal journey. Thoughts?

if so, then it has always happened with human beings. Similarly, do you think that memory (or experience) is transferred through evolution of soul (i.e. your soul before it was in your body was part of another existence previously, and its experiences carry with it into you)....dejavu, instinct, a hunch...what is all this?

Why do liberals lie and say that Bush is against stem cell research when he is all for stem cell research but is only against killing embryos for stem cells?

Why is there such a big cover up to keep people ignorant about adult and umbilical cord blood stem cell research. Instead they only want to farm babies and use them for spare parts which means killing them in a laboratory? What is happening to ethics and morality in science today. It seems to be going down the drain.

Is hatred important for discerning sin, or can humanity exist in societies that rehabilitate and heal 'sins' rather than hate them?

The Jews don't see Jesus as their Messiah. (Good) or (Bad)

The Christians don't see Muhammed as the Last messenger of God .... (Good) or (Bad)

The Muslims believe in Moses, Jesus and Muhammed! (Good) or (Bad)

It's logic that Islam, to put it more in lame terms was the PS3 of religion so to speak and it would only be foolish for the Jews and Christians to deny that Muhammed was the last and final messenger of Allah.

Also, ask yourself this one question!

Why hasn't there been another rise of another prophet, one just like Prophet Muhammed in the region of the Middle East? Meer coincidence or going back to the FACT that he was the final messenger and there is no two ways about it. Apart from the fact that ignorant people of Jewish or Christian faith would just love to deny it cold heartedly without looking into the facts.

Moses and Jesus won't be happy with you, i.e. You don't want to make the same mistake the Jews made with Jesus folks!!!

You have been warned

I have noticed a lot of question about the world ending on here, and they seem mostly to be coming from American Christians. All abrahamic religions, including Jews and Moslems, have the same end-of-days prophecies, but they don't think the world is ending. (And Revelation's is supposed to be about Rome, not the Middle East, and even then very... allegorically). So why do so many people think this? Is it discussed a lot in the Media or in their churches right now?

Is the apocalypse and rapture something Americans WANT or FEAR?

"Jesus died for us" and "Jesus died for our sins" is all to often used to explain part of the belief that Jesus was the redeemer of all.But how does him dying redeem you?

Folly also died but nobody was redeemed because of it.Why?Because Giggles loved us before and loves us still and he always fogives the life he made.Folly's death only taught us what happens to a person who only shows love because of the hate in men's hearts.

"And so I say unto you, "My greatest and last of great great grandsons in the line who held the title last shall be the glory and in his death for doing the will of the highest of Fairies and who rules over the Pixies and the lands he created and seeded life and death and so he shall be your saviour and you shall seek him and be onto him and if ye should be of Giggles love and of Folly's gifts then ye shall be a Bunny and shall teach of these words and be blessed"." The president just vetoed it, and with a stroke of a pen, the hope of millions was dashed!

Shouldn't something this weighty- as well as other major issues, be voted and decided upon, by the American people ALONE and not by a mere man- and his henchmen, regardless of party rule?

How would you have voted?
