"Jesus died for us" and "Jesus died for our sins" is all to often used to explain part of the belief that Jesus was the redeemer of all.But how does him dying redeem you?

Folly also died but nobody was redeemed because of it.Why?Because Giggles loved us before and loves us still and he always fogives the life he made.Folly's death only taught us what happens to a person who only shows love because of the hate in men's hearts.

"And so I say unto you, "My greatest and last of great great grandsons in the line who held the title last shall be the glory and in his death for doing the will of the highest of Fairies and who rules over the Pixies and the lands he created and seeded life and death and so he shall be your saviour and you shall seek him and be onto him and if ye should be of Giggles love and of Folly's gifts then ye shall be a Bunny and shall teach of these words and be blessed"." G.A.P. 1:4

You're asking for something that's utter nonsense to be sensible. It can't be done. All you're going to get is a bunch of crap about sacrifices, sin, love and justice, but none of these address the fundamental issue, which is why was a sacrifice required at all? Isn't god writing the rules, or is he just powerlessly playing someone else's game?

This is not just"someone". This is God the creator were talking about. He gave us the ten commandments. He made the laws, and one was broken. For that we all inherited sin. Jesus knew the penalty had to be paid,so he paid it with his own life. Imagine, the God who created all things, all the Galaxy's of stars, all things on earth, loving us so much he died so we would have a chance for eternal life. And, he would have done it if you were the only one it would save. Thank you God.

Christ was considered the sacrificial lamb. After that, there were to be no other burnt offerings to God. As what was stated by Moses in the first 5 books of the Bible. He was to fulfil the law. Make it to where there were not suppose to be anymore sacrifices. With him shedding his blood, it was to cover all sins. Blood in the Old Testament was the only way sins could be covered. In the story of Moses, the Angel of Death was to pass by, killing all 1st born sons, they took the sacrificial lamb, smeared the blood across the doors, and the Angel passed by with out killing the child or 1st born.

It is so often used that Jesus died for us to redeem our sins because that's what he did. It's not a straightforward concept such as you add red food dye to water and it turns red because the molecules moving in the water spread around the dye. Bad example, I know. But it just showed that jesus could have ran, jesus could have said No i'm not the king of the jews, but he died for us.

I can see where this can make no sense. Let me try to explain!

In Jewish Law, to be free from sin, you must make an animal scrifice to God! There were different animals for different sins, and this was something in the ancient world that was done consistenty! The sacrifice had to be perfect in order to be acceptable to God!

Now, Jesus was said to be perfect,(he had to be- He's God), in order to be a sacrifice! Therefore God's plan was to get rid of sin as an issue in human's lives and make a final sacrifice through Jesus. John 3:16

Let me explain How Jesus died to forgive us more in detail.

The Bible says there will be a day of Judgement, every thought word and deed will be brought to light and nothing will be hidden.
The BIble says the Ten Comandments will be Gods standard of righteousness, so lets look at a few to see how you will do.

Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments.
What a shock! Nothing you’ve ever done is hid from His holy eyes. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and the Bible says if God judges you according to your sins, you could end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray something like this: "Dear God, I repent of all of my sins (confess them). This day I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."

God Bless

The whole idea behind the Jesus story (borrowed from Mithraism and other religions) is that someone else can be punished for your crimes. It means that you don't have to be responsible for your own behavior, because all you have to do is ask this mythical person for forgiveness and poof! all your bad behaviors are erased! I am sure that the lazy people of the world, the ones who don't want accountability for their own actions, are attracted to Christianity for that very reason. It is so much easier to ask the invisible savior, whom they can't see, touch, or relate to, for forgiveness, than it is to apologize to the actual, real, living human being whom they've offended with their behavior.

There are many stories that reflect the redemption story. The fact is that Jesus Chrsit did what no man could do. He was fully man and fully God so He was capable of living a sinless life--therefore satisfying God's standard of justice. He provided the way for men (and women) to be reunited with him. When we accept Christ's sacrifice for us on our behalf, God doesn't see our inperfections; He only sees His rightousness.

We can't earn this gift. We must receive it by faith.

We are all sinners, and God will not look upon sin or those who commit sin. So a sacrificial lamb had to be sacrificed to cover the sins of the people. This was a cleansing of the people so God would look upon them and hear their prayers.

This had to take place every year. It would still have to happen today, except God sent His son Jesus, as the "Ultimate Lamb of God" to be sacrificed for the sins of the world, so no more lambs had to be sacrificed to cover anyone's sins. They are now just required to accept and acknowledge that Jesus, the son of God, died on the cross to pay for our sins. This was a cleansing of our sins. But all we are to do today is repent of our sins, that is to be honestly remorsful for our sins, and ask Jesus to forgive and He will. It's not that complicated. Read the bible and learn.

Acceptance of Jesus as your savior, gets you a place in heaven, instead of the penalty of sin being death, through acceptance of Jesus as your savior, you no longer die, but go to heaven.

Jesus willingly accepted His death to be the punishment for all sin. Something only Jesus could do because Jesus was God incarnate.
